You'll probably want to become familiar with the writing forum regulars and make some friends. From there NG holds regular writing contests, usually with prizes, sometimes elaborate collaborations, that's where making friends comes in - and it's all about fun so enjoy your stay. <3

Thanks everyone for not destroying me. Sorry for the post. This place seems great and you all seem cool so i'll expect to see you guys maybe on another topic that i didn't fuck up.

So I'm writing a short film for me and my friends to someday make, i've written before and I realized I never write things the same way. I don't have a technique yet.
So I was just wondering What some of you guys do when you write.
The obvious is to do an outline and such but what else do you guys do to write your stories?

What did everyone think of Looper? I loved it. Maybe a tad bit over hyped on the commercials. There isn't THAT much Action but the Action that there is, is fantastic [Including one scene of Classic Bruce Willis]. JGL is amazing in this movie, he does Bruce Willis SPOT ON, even if he didn't have the make up he could pull off Bruce just by speaking and his mannerisms. I'm a fan of Rian Johnson. I loved Brick and Brothers Bloom but this movie is much more different, The story is very sci fi but the sci fi isn't what defines the story, what makes the story is the character of Joe. And for those who havent seen it, dont worry because the trailers dont give away ANYTHING important.
