Here's a good idea for a saw trap: you wake up in a disused public swimming pool filled with stagnant water. You are heavily ducttaped to a surfboard: and by heavy I mean it covers your entire body except for your neck and head. The surfboard is a cheap childs sponge one. You cannot move your arms, legs or trunk, and there is a line of tape across your forehead preventing you from turning your head. All the doors are open and unlocked and you are floating in the centre of the pool. There is a man who was affected by thalidomide (a toxic drug) as a baby so he has very short arms and legs and is disabled so he cannot speak. He will not jump into the pool as he is chain ganged to the wall on a reasonably long chain but it is not long enough for him to be able to reach you. He has sharp scissors, and if you can get yourself to the edge of the pool he will cut you free and escape. If you wiggle too much the board will flip over and drown you, because you cannot turn yourself back over due to the ducttape. You have 20 minutes to free yourself, otherwise all the doors will lock and the thalidomide man will be killed and the scissors thrown into the pool. Good luck!
