Well not all of them, If so, then explain this.

lol, he's also got four Turds of the Week, he's trying to steal IsOnFire's title. But I doubt that he'll ever make front page, I mean, his humor rules, but most of the gaywads on this site don't seem to appreciate it. It makes me sad. So very, very sad :'(

I'd love to! I bet you also enjoy watching horror movies from the 70's with German voice-overs. We should start a club!

I don't like Piconjo purely on the grounds that he flames every artist and he has a legion of nerds following him into battle. It's pretty weak how an artist’s career is based upon bashing another.
Oh come on, it's called parody. That's why South Park and Family Guy exist. Being popular means that people will make jokes about you. It's been going on since the beginning of time. And he draws a few penises, so what. People were offended by gayness in the 70's, now it's okay to laugh at it. Loosen up a little.
Piconjo <3s j00No, he really doesn't.
You should accept the <3. Don't be so cold. It's christmas.

God dammit, why do you conclude each post with '~blam master'. BBS sigs were invented for a reason.

Seeing someone shout "OMFG KILL THE TOADIES" always makes my day. We need more people like Piconjo. And talking about creativity, LegendaryFrog's most successful movies were those in which he took the characters from a famous movie and added a few lame Simpsons jokes.

It isn't bad, but South Park stills pwns Team America. Trey Parker and Matt Stone should do a 'South Park: the movie Reloaded'.

Dude I listened to your rap, and I'm speechless. It's amazing how this thread has brought forth yet another all-time low for hiphop. I guess it was supposed to suck ass, but you shouldn't resort to copying faggot king Goldencat. Just let him be - he'll stop when no one pays attention to him. <3
Goldencat I love you. I read through the flash reviews that you wrote, and I noticed that you were still speaking normal english back in October. And now you're suddenly a hardcore gangsta from da hood, ya know, representin'. Next year you'll be a latino-wannabe (wsup ese), the next year you'll be emo, then goth, and maybe after that you'll realize what a retard you have been. But hey: everybody here knows (hates) you, so you've gotten some attention. Word brotha.
At 12/13/04 11:29 AM, chadlock wrote: were do you gotta put that action script soo it will work and were could i change it so the time limit is longer
er, I put it in Frame 1 of my only layer in Scene 1. I only had three Scenes, all of them had only one keyframe, and the first scene had a button called scene3Button. It depends on the situation where you put it, this is just to make that guy's example work.
That 7000 is the Time limit. When 7000 millisconds (7 seconds) have passed, it executes the specified function (gotoScene2 in this example). You can change it to like 60000 (1 minute) or you can tell it to execute another function.
At 12/13/04 11:14 AM, chadlock wrote: dont you mean flash mx? thats the latest
Yeah, okay I checked, it says Macromedia MX, but when you start Flash and select 'About Flash' you see 'Flash version 6'. So I guess it's the same thing.
Oh and to MaXJ - I just noticed another typ-o, and one of my 'corrections' was incorrect. Allow me to repost the entire code, if there are any more typ-o's I'll commit suicide.
stop();
gotoScene2 = function() {gotoAndStop("Scene 2",1);}
scene2Interval = setInterval(gotoScene2 , 7000);
scene3Button.onPress= function() {
gotoAndStop("Scene 3",1);
clearInterval(scene2Interval);
}
At 12/13/04 10:55 AM, chadlock wrote: flash six you dont here about flash 6 very much theres never any tutorials or anything is there something wrong about??
Flash 6 is the latest edition (I guess), so hope it's better than the precious editions. I've only seen flash 6, so i have no idea. But if you haven't got 6, can't you download an update from the Macromedia website?
At 12/13/04 10:52 AM, lapis wrote: scene2Interval = setInterval(gotoScene2 , 2000);
Fucking hell, I type too fast. This should be:
scene2Interval = setInterval(gotoScene2() , 2000);
At 12/13/04 10:52 AM, lapis wrote: goToScene2 = function() {gotoAndStop("Scene 2",1);}
fuck, it should be gotoScene2. I'm sure you would have noticed, but just in case.
At 12/13/04 08:16 AM, MaXJ wrote: tempint = setInterval(function() {gotoAndPlay("Scen 32", 1);
;clearInterval(tempInt);},7000);
Thats what i put in my movie. after 7 seconds it go to another scen #2! and when you clicked a buttom on the first Scen you are going to Scen #3.
But when you clic the buttom, it contiunes to Scen #3. But after 7 seconds it goes automatlic to scen #2!! How do i stop the script after it change scen?. or when i clic on the Buttom
hmm, I use Flash 6, so I don't know if this will work for you, but it does for me. Let's the button is call 'scene3Button'. Add this to the actions for Frame 1 of one of your layers of scene 2.
stop();
goToScene2 = function() {gotoAndStop("Scene 2",1);}
scene2Interval = setInterval(gotoScene2 , 2000);
scene2Button.onPress= function() {
gotoAndStop("Scene 3",1);
clearInterval(scene2Interval);
}
Forget the Stop(); or use gotoAndPlay() or whatever is suitable in your movie, but this is the basic idea.
At 12/12/04 10:11 PM, BonusStage wrote: another top 5
Hey BonusStage, I know this is too much work, but I've already seen a few people with experience levels 1-5 post their list, and their vote counts just as much as the votes of people who have been here for a longer time. I know my voting power (6.15 when I'm typing this) is still pretty mediocre, but still... the people with high experience levels are better at judging artists for what they've accomplished over the past year, so you should multiply people's votes with their voting power before you count them.
I don't expect you to redo your list and check everybody's profile, but I just think it had to be said.
At 12/12/04 02:28 PM, Tr00jg wrote: Dont know if it would work, but did u try
"_parent.triangle".bye();
dont knwo if it would work...
nah didn't work, but it doens't matter, thanks for responding anyway :)
I'll illustrate my question with an example:
Main timeline, 1 layer, 1 keyframe. I'll call this layer 'rootlayer'.
I draw a triangle, convert it to a symbol called 'Triangle' and I give it the instance name 'triangle'.
I double-click on the triangle, allowing me to edit the symbol. Now I've got a new timeline, including a layer with 1 keyframe. This layer will be called 'trianglelayer'.
Now I'll declare a function 'hi' as an action for Frame 1 of the layer 'rootlayer'.
hi = function() {trace("hi");}
Then I want to access this function from the layer 'trianglelayer'.
So I type the following action for Frame 1 of the layer 'trianglelayer'.
hi();
This doens't work, it does work however when I type:
_root.hi();
Now I'll declare a function 'bye' as an action for Frame 1 of the layer 'trianglelayer'.
bye = function() {trace("bye");}
using 'bye(); ' as an action for Frame 1 of the layer 'rootlayer' doesn't work. I first tried 'triangle.bye(); ' and 'Triangle.bye(); ', but they don't work either. You can make it work by adding a second keyframe to the layer 'rootlayer' and giving it the actions 'triangle.bye(); ' and 'stop(); '.
I think this is because bye(); is called before it has been declared, so maybe someone can tell me how to access 'bye' from Frame 1 of 'rootlayer' without having to add new frames. Maybe a new layer?
