I am actually starting to wonder whether or not this is a project that'll go ahead, I've heard of no reply from Luis via pm or facebook, maybe he's just doing stuff... anyway.
Thanks.

I tied him to a massive exploding taco. The only way to save him is to jump through a puddle of anal pudding....Which also explodes. :O
Imma go chat-roulette on this bitch.
Any one notice how news companies couldn't be bothered with this until the threat of a blackout became a reality?
Type in sopa now, and instead of getting information on the position of the two bills themselves, all the shitheads that didn't give a damn two days ago are spewing information we knew weeks ago.
WE WILL SMUSH THE COCK OF FREEDOM INTO THE FACE OF CORRUPTION!!!!
Soooooo, what you're saying is, the entertainment industry is one big cluster cunt?
Keep my hand off me dick.
SEE ya next year!!
Unless SOPA passes
It's almost poetic how NDAA, SOPA and PIPA go hand in hand.
Blur the lines of what is and is not terrorism, pass more bills that take away more rights, people protest then get thrown in jail with the fuck ton of 4chan kids that have been there for weeks :3
I was wondering if it was at all possible to put a flash on a DVD with a fully working menu. I was planning on making a custom DVD for a friend with an animation on it and I think it would be puuuurrrty awesome if a DVD player could actually play it and if it had a fully working menu.
I'm thinking there will be some file converting going on and that isn't any trouble I was just curious on what all should be done.
Anybody?
Actually upon revisiting the problem I was able to save it. I work with symbols alot so the entire animation was pretty much in movie clips..The timeline wasn't visible but they were! :D
All I had to do was copy a symbol, close the corrupt file, open a new one then paste the symbol/movie clip into the library!
I do appreciate the responses though guys :D

I appreciate the help guys but unfortunately I sent he files to two members of newgrounds and both declared it dead :c
When I press enter and hold it the timeline is empty although the symbols are still there. I tried to put the symbols into a new document but that just crashes flash...I tried again just now and flash still won't close -.-
The last few weeks I have been working on a flash project. Today I was at the VERY VERY end of finishing it when flash kinda froze up; getting annoyed I simply used Ctrl Alt Delete to shut down flash that way. When I did it asked if I wanted to save my file, I said yes and after it was closed I tried to open it again...It won't open.
When I try to open it it just says "Could not open scene probably because of low memory, to increase available memory close open documents" I know that memory isn't the problem, the file is only 168MB and I have a brand new gaming system that has 6gigs of memory. So aside from restoring the system what can I do?
Flash will open anything else just not this specific file..I would deeply appreciate help :/ I will make sure to give thanks to whom ever can help me in the credits.
Which I soooo wish it could.
life would be sooo much easier if they did.
exporting to movie files, such as .avi, movie clips don't render beyond the first frame...
so if you make something for ng, then want to put it on youtube as well, and you have something that's blurred, you can go and get fucked, pretty much. >:(
stupid adobe.
Having a hobby shouldn't be so damn aggravating lol
Would anyone know how to get an SWF to a good, clear avi or flv? I cant just export as an avi because of the movie clips inside the flash and when i export as an .MOV the movie is laggy and skips. Does anyone have any ideas? Im trying to get it onto youtube and of course they do not accept SWF's...im sure there is a method to do so being that alot of flash videos on youtube had movie clips, I just wanna know how its done.
If you tell meh you gets a big cookeh....MADE OF SEX!

Ya the reason I used the movie clips were mainly because I am using the blur effect, which i dont think can be used with graphics
Im trying to import swfs into flash so I can export them all as one big movie but, the thing is when I import and then export, it is all just one still picture, my guess is the symbols wont play in the imported file..Anyone now what to do?

This is the place to go regarding flash problems. You might also want to include information about what version of flash you are using.
Flash CS3 script 2.0
For some reason flash decided that it would be just the best idea ever to start being a tard when I need it most.
What happens is whenever I export it doesn't play smoothly and seems to jump, while in the actual project itself it runs very nicely and smooth. I was under the impression that once it "renders" it would have no trouble keeping up at all.
I dunno if it's my computer or if its flash or what..All I know is when I export I have to watch it a few times before it runs smoothly and even at that sometimes it messes up even worse than before.
Its at 22 fps I use not a whole lot, but what I would say an intermediate amount of layers and movie symbols and the flash I have on my profile has ball loads of layers and had none of these problems when I made that one.
Any ideas? Im about ready to beat myself to death with a tire iron.
NO sale is worth a human life.
