soooo... if your pico animation submitted on NG DOESNT get the 2000 or the 1000 or the 500 or the 250 of the pico day, can you still get the monthly prizes?? i mean, can your flash still be one of the 5 best movies or games of the month if it doesnt get the pico prizes????

oh oh, and can you submit your pico animations for pico day some days before the ico day?

aaaand finally, are the voters for pico day going to vote like a day or two after the pico day or the same daay???????

woah... and it all started with a new NG tank logo...

awesome, really good slogan, maybe some people dont like it, but to be honest, nowadays in NG there are not many "problems of the future", and its mostly creative ideas by many many many people around the world...

as someone else said a page ago (by the way i would end his speech with Amen) the new slogan is most likely a philosophy, someday in the future, things will be like that, and therefore stuff will be cheaper, and more accesible for most of the people...

by the way, i liked this other guys's idea of a header, with the names of the sections and when you pass the mouse over the names, a picture shows up and stuff... really good idea... umm... NGuser guy.

by the way i hope the background doesnt go completely black like the old desing... that wouldnt be realy nice and it would look a bit monotonic...

what else was i gonna say? i dont remember... but what i know is that ...

althrough at the strart it looked kinda ugly, a little unorganized, i didnt like the search bar justout there, i think it should be under the login spaces...

i guess you guys are gonna change the background from gray to black arent you? or else the header would look kinda ugly with the background in gray...

i hope you guys do something like the PSP's NG design, and im sure you are going to change the login page, i meman, that small square in the big gray space doesnt look really good...

i hope you change the bots a little, like in diferent poses, and maybe we could finally meet G-bot :D

and OMG i didnt noticed that you guys changed the new post backgrounds.. wooaaaah , it sure looks cooler, and the twin towers can be noticeable at the end of the image..

i loved the backgrounds, the new tank logo... but i kinda didint like the new slogan... i mean... "everything by everyone"... well, i prefer the old one, maybe you could twist the old one a little bit :D

i drew pico in like 5 minutes on flash, and moved the colors of the drawing... here are the results :D

collab is between "", with that i wanted to say that it wasnt a collab with a special theme or something, in my first post i said that i needed some movies, like the parodies in DOVG... kinda like that...

oh... well... it wasnt actually a collab... but i guess it will get locked... that animation was kinda crappy i know, i did it just to test flash, cause its my first movie...

this movie wont be entirely a collab, it has a story and stuff... i would like to collect some animations for this flash...

i ve seen a different NG tank logo in blue at the behemoth website... i loved it, with the phrase "the problems of the future today" around it, and some stars... it looks pretty cool!

so, wich one looks better, the classic black and white tank, the yellow tank, or the different blue one?

hooooah so you use those basic drawing to make your FBF animations too.... i will do it for most of the complicated movements.. like camera angles changes etc etc :D

oh by the way, the little demon is like the guider of the left guy and the angel is the guider of the right guy... it depends on their aura... ;)

i liked the feeling that those "extra lines" give to the characters :D

He could just do his body shape sketches, then F7, Onion skin it, and get a 50% alpha of his old drawing and draw in a new frame. It is a lot less work than making another layer (unless he's animating, in which case your way works better).

yep that would work to... but in case you want to animate you should use the "separate layers" method :D

using your wacom tablet would be much better... it would take you less tine, and your drawings would be easier to correct... just remember to do what you do (or should do) in your paper drawings... Basic figures... you know... that square for the body and the circle for the head, and the lines for the arms, etc,

you should make these basic figures in an iferior layer (in flash) and then make the actual drawing ( the character) on a superior layer! once you are done, delete the inferior layer and there ya go!!!!
