Hey!..
I used to be insanely nervous for playing live gigs. Right before stage time...so much that I wanted the house to fall down or something so it would be called off.. and I always regret that I ever said yes to the gig.. I became sick and wanted to throw up...
For a couple of years I acutally stopped playing live, and concentrated on studio work... but I got lured back out for lots of gigs in a row.. and it gradually faded.. It still took over a year of gigging but it faded...
So my tip would just be "DO IT" ...and a lot! ...If "one" person "once" told you "something" it wont matter much to the rest of the world.. even if it hurt you...
Playing live is the best feeling in the world!.... look at me now! ..(..keyboard dude..)..
