how do make a groovy bassline (or a bassline that's playing it's own melody) without making it clash with the other melodic instruments?

try with soundgoodizer

i'm 95% sure you can use.

Response to: Fl studio and midi keyboard Posted May 3rd, 2013 in Audio

What version of FL STUDIO are you using? You can surely do it in the new one (see the video about it, I saw it there). If you are using an older version than 11, I don't know if you can do it.

Response to: Tutorials within the Forum? Posted April 29th, 2013 in Audio

Make a single image in an image editing program and post it here. Maybe splitting the whole in four, five pics. There was a guy that uploaded it on deviantArt and posted it here, it was about Sytrus.

May I ask what type of tutorials (sound synthesis, theories, MELODIES, ...)?

sup guys?
when I load Sytrus (actually any plugin) in Patcher, and I play notes fast or whatever I do something fast (scrolling through the browser at the left), the program crashes and freezes.

i'm sure it's not that my computer can't handle it, because I tried with 3xOSC (I guess that's pretty light) and happened the same. Am I doing something wrong, or what?

that song Bass antics was a nice one, until the drop

Response to: Liquid Piano + Other 3 Midi Melodie Posted April 22nd, 2013 in Audio

ok thanks for the tips. but i'm talking about instrumentals, no lyrics.
you spoke about rising and fall, and that's what i learnt, but i don't know else techniques. like, what if i want to make a "dance-able" melody with a minor scale? in the major it sounds too cheesy, and in the minor sometimes it sounds too sad and totally not good for a club track or dance, if you get what i mean.
