Invalid sense i never said i was important. Also look at the word think.

YOU FAIL

BAHAHAHA stop being so cocky you damn 12 year old. When you say "I think" you're trying to appear to be modest and polite, but you're just being arrogant. "I never said I was important"? Well the poster never said that he thought you thought you were important, now did he?

This thread sucks. You all suck at being funny. It's not the fact that half of you can't photoshop that bothers me, it's the fact that you all think that you're being clever when you really aren't.

Anyways, here's mine:

Wow, how did this go unnoticed for so long? In one of the flashes, the author states that they're simply a fan, not the actual iosys group.

Anyone remember this song/compilation thing?

http://www.zshare.net/audio/6553290664 49edbf/

It was fairly popular in 2006 as a youtube video. It's since been removed but i still had the original mp3 buried in my terabyte drive. So far, I've had deja vu with about 10 songs since hearing this.

So, the question is, what causes you to feel deja vu? Personally, I absolutely LOVE it when I hear a reference/ hear a song sample/ etc that I have no clue about, then a few days later I see where it was from and shit bricks. Like after I saw Marisa Stole the Precious thing, I saw Castle of Cagliostro, where Zenigata was all "Lupin stole your precious thing, your heart!" at which point I immediately creamed myself.

EXACTLY. There is no flash-review admin, or even flash-review mods. There are only busy, busy admins and in their spare time they're supposed to look over flagged flash? Screw that. If there were flash mods, then when something was massflagged, it could either be taken down or immediately put back up.

See, the problem with our current flagging system is that once something is flagged, it's completely ruined. There's no chance of getting a daily any more, and the author usually just resubmits.

Flash mods. Seriously, we have review, audio, and bbs mods. Why not flash, considering that NG is almost based entirely on flash?

That's a ridiculous idea. It'll only make the problem with the blurred line between genuine spam with malicious intent and pseudo-spam that's funny worse.

I agree. Wade needs to set his shit straight and get with the times. He knows that half of the flashes that he deletes aren't malicious anyways, he's just too lazy to check through all of them.

What do you think of this old feature of Newgrounds? Personally, I hate it. For example, the Kitty Krew's return collab, made with 100% effort and heart, was massflagged. Will Wade do anything about it? No he won't. And that's the big flaw of this system:

NOBODY CARES FOR FLAGGED FLASHES

Hell, some spam crews have even flagged popular artist's works, and only with special contact with Tom or Wade were they able to get them unflagged.

And think of it this way: If something stolen, someone can report it to an admin for deletion. Sure, the flash will be hosted for a few more days, but which is of higher priority, the length of a stolen flash's visit when it will inevitably be deleted, or the life of a legitimate but incorrectly flagged flash, which loses all chance of front page and winning an award even IF it is unflagged?

This is a terrible method of picking out bad flash. Users can simply massflag a flash to send it into oblivion. Yes, I'm sure flagging works on malicious flash, but so? It's not like Tom or Wade actually check if a flash is malicious or not.

In conclusion: discuss the whistling system. What do you think of it?

there may be a few logic gaps in my argument here and there because i'm incredibly pissed off at the laziness involved in handling flagged flash
