Oh how you've come to the right person on this subject
Zombie films:
- 28 Days / 28 Weeks later ...not old, but I think they still have the charm.. not old school charm, but good film charm
- Night of the Living Dead, or any of Romero's classics
- Return of the Living Dead, kinda a spoof, but fuck is it ever hilarious, and it's definitely an original take on zombies too
- Burial Ground
- I Walked With a Zombie
- C.H.U.D. (shut up, I loved it)
- Flesheater
- White Zombie
- Re-Animator
- Zombi, Zombie II, oh you know..
- Nightmare on Elm Street, all of those movies are pretty good in my opinion
Same with all the Friday the 13th movies... watch part V, that one has my favourite kill ever... when you see the dude fucking in the forest, you'll know what I mean haha
- Cannibal Ferox (a.k.a. make them die slowly)
- Cannibal Holocaust
- Alien/Aliens/Alien 3
- The original Amityville Horror
- An American Werewolf in London
- Deranged ....movie sorta based on Ed Gein from the '70s, although it's definitely been changed
- Bram Stoker's Dracula (the one with Anthony Hopkins and Gary Oldman)
- Motel Hell ...this movie will put it's dick in your ear and fuck your mind.. it's not all that "scary", but it's definitely fucked up
- the original Black Christmas from like the '70s... funny as fuck and some good mindless horror
- The Mist... don't be fooled by the fact that it's new, it's fucking so good, not to be confused with The Fog, either, that movie was shit, although I have yet to see the original
- You have to see original Texas Chainsaw Massacre too
If you have the time, watch the one from 2003, I liked it too, but nothing beats the original
- The Exorcist (obviously)
- Exorcist Part III ...way better then part II, and it was Jeffrey Dahmer's favourite film which is enough alone to give it a shot
- Crimewave (done by the Coen brothers, and Sam Raimi, the genius responsible for the Evil Dead trilogy)
- The being said, The Evil Dead trilogy... number II is the best one, in my opinion
- Dead Alive
- Fright Night
- Psycho (again, obviously.. can't go wrong with Hitchcock)
- Faster Pussy Cat, Kill Kill
- The original Hills Have Eyes movies... and the new ones, what the hell right
- The Hitcher
- The Invisible Man
- Manic
- Manson Family
- Basket Case
- Nightbreed
- Carrie
- Prom Night films haha.. even when they got stupid and super natrual, they were still entertaining
- The Shining... My favourite film ever to watch while getting baked... Everything about it, Stanley Kubrick fucking rocked this movie, the imagery, the quality and mystery of the story, just fucking brilliant
- Silence of the Lambs ...Hannibal Lecter is the shit
- Near Dark
- Bloodfeast
- Hellraiser
- Halloween
- The Thing ...Carpenter's masterpiece in my opinion.. I fucking love alien movies because of this film
- Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, this movie is old as fuck but tonnes of historical relevance
- People Under The Stairs
- Rosemary's Baby
- Repulsion (my favourite Polanski film)
- Scream
- The Omen (original)
- When a Stranger Calls ('79)
All the original Boris Karloff films I imagine you'll also hear on this thread.
Wolfman, Mummy, Nosferatu, King Kong, Dracula, Frankenstein, all that jazz, you know
