I LEFT NEWGROUNDS AWHILE AGO AND IT WAS THE BEST FUCKING TIME OF MY LIFE. NOW IM DOING IT AGAIN. SO PERMA BAN ME.

Oh, and I'd like to point out that I normally talk like this... I'm not some troll who uses all caps all the time. I just want to be permanently banned, so i broke a few rules just now, and admitted the truth in a nutshell rather than making a huge E-drama wanting thread where noone would give a shit.

Topic: Do you have issues with the French?

Posted: 05/03/06 10:03 PM

Forum: General

i'm with you. I'm american born, and am nearly fluent in spanish and am fluent in english. But I am half french, and Half canadian by heritage. I used to never get insulted about these things, mostly because people didn't know, and because the tension between the US and mexico wasn't as great. Now that people have found out that I am french/canadian and am completely open to spanish culture, I get told to 'retreat back over the border with my crappy army' and stuff like that alot. Its mainly just jokes, but I find it odd that everyone that finds out that I am french/canadian suddenly seems to have a different perspective on me.

So, that's why I agree with you. NGers, try to have a more open mind than the common man does.

im sorry but your country is far from one of the most religious in the world.

How about Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vatican City, Italy (I hear Jesus is huge there), Isreal, nearly every middle eastern state, Somalia, Turkey, any country that was aprt of the Armanian empire pretty much.

Compared to these and other countries you country is a bunch of god haters.

I was fuly aware of this when i posted that. i didnt say that the united states was the only country 'of god', but it is obviously one of them considering that it is run by christians and the massive majority of the country supports christianity. as for the god haters comment-- i dont agree with you, but whatever. thats your view, not mine. i was only expressing my opinion on the subject of this thread.

Forum: Politics

At 10/1/05 02:01 PM, jlwelch wrote: Look, it is impossible to be both gay and christian at the same time, that is my point. God refers to it as an abomination several times in the Bible and it is quite clear that he dispises it. Normally people can distort the scriptures to fit their argument but this is as blantantly clear as it gets!

no, its not imposible and homosexuality is not a choice. im sorry to be so blunt with my rebuttle but homosexuality is natural and is found in nature. but to speak in the terms of which you seem to be so familiar, id like to ask something. the ten commandments, direct orders from our god, say that you should not kill his creations. This is because he loves his creations. It is commonly stated that Jesus Christ loves all of his disciples and those created by god, and he is a forgiving man. It is, to use your terms, as 'blantantly' (properly spelled blatantly) clear as it gets to me that god loves all of his creations. knowing this, why would he create homosexuals? to shun them? to deny them of rights; to banish them and to have them treated as lepers? No. This is not a christian god. This is not the god you and I love. This is a god created by the catholic church to prevent someone questioning their orders (free thinking? no, my son, thats called satanism, communism, facism, being a nazi, terrorism, or just plain being evil in the eyes of the church). I know you wont change your mind. thats part of my proof that this works. its virtually impossible for you to change your mind this late in the game.

http://www.jesus-is-..xuality_is_a_sin.htm

I read the majority of the text on that site, and laughed. not at the site, but at people who beleive it. that, my friend, is propoganda. they took historical facts, and mixed it with the words 'communism', 'nazi', and most often, 'satanism'. The 'satanic' group mentioned is actually a group supporting equality between the male and feminine. that is why they worshipped a god who was 1/2 man, 1/2 woman. not because they were homosexual, but because they cherished the relationship between a woman and man. they cherished it even more than the catholic church.

There are way too many superficial christians out there who seek to be both christian and moderate, but unless you read the scriptures and live accordingly you are not a christian. And please do not call be a "bible thumping idiot" as I am also majoring in biochemistry and on track for honors.

this is obviously your opinion and ill stay away from it. but i would like to say one thing-- stick to the biochemistry, because you'd be no good at being a politician. you are obviously one who learns only when he is told by an administrator to learn, one who will blindly follow his religion's beleifs thinking they are his own until death.

Forum: Politics

Sorry for going slightly off topic here, but i want to propose something a bit less obvious, but it came immediately to me after reading this and i feel it should be said in this topic.
my interpretation of the prediction:

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder,

-the city of god could be a term for the united states. this country is one of the most religious countries, considering how many christians there are and how much religious bias there is about god. A great thunder could easily be some major crisis or an arguably unjust war- 9/11, the iraq war, vietnam, pearl harbor, the civil war, etc.

Two brothers torn apart by Chaos,

- two brothers could represent countrymen of the united states-- democrats and republicans. they are obviously politically 'torn apart by chaos' by decisions made by the president and other issues, such as abortion.

while the fortress endures,

-here the fortress could either mean the world, or the united states again. if it was the united states this would enforce that the chaos the country is thrown into is simply political and not physical.

the great leader will succumb,

-the great leader = the president

The third big war will begin when the big city is burning"

-The third world war will begin when the united states is in chaos.

I know threads have been made about it before, but im making one now because its being shown as i write this on cartoon network.

post your opinion on it here, especially if you have seen the fansub version before you watched the dubbed version.

my opinion, from what ive seen so far (around 10-15 minutes), is that they havnt edited it as much as i thought they would, and the voice acting is much better than it has been for previous dubbed shows (such as one peice).

Posted: 08/26/05 08:36 PM

Forum: Flash

well, i agree with the last poster. i suggest practicing at flash before attempting anything so seemingly complicated as this, but what the hell. ill help coriograph a small fight scene, if you wish.

*a man is walking home from work with a coffee cup in his hand, he takes a sip of it as he walks down a sidewalk. as he is walking, a small throwing knife cuts spins through his coffee cup, making a clean cut in half, spilling the coffee all over the man.*
*pan to the beast as he smashes a fist at the girl, she jumps over it and pushes it from its stall point in the air into the ground, leaving it stuck there. she then unsheathes a sword and cuts violently at its neck while the beast struggles to pull its arm out of the ground. it attemptsto dodge, making the regularly fatal slashes to the neck into minor cuts. just as the beast pulls its arm out of the ground, the girl unsheathes her other sword and uses the two to cut off its arm. the beast goes into a terribles rage and greabs a car and stuffs it into the bloody hole where its arm used to be, to help stop the bleeding. the girl jumps off of him and shoots fire at him from the air, making small fires on his head. to the girl's surprise, the beast ignores the fire on its skull and smacks her out of the air and into the crowd, knocking down innocent bystanders, and pounding the girl into an unconscious state.*
*the crowd pauses and murmurs lightly, then slowly moves in, picking up whatever rubble they find as a weapon against the gargantuan. the beast swings his arm out and blasts away the oncoming crowd. one man is hit against a brick wall, slashing open a wound in his back and banging his head against the wall. he looks into his pocket and pulls out a handgun*
*cut to first person view of the man*
*the scr
*he pulls outthe gun, and aims it at the beast*
man: that was my car, you mother fucker.
*the man shoots the gun at the gasoline tank of the crushed car stuffed in the titan's arm socket, making the beast explode*

so, how was that? if you use this, credit me.
