Well they would need people with CS3, and ShortMonkey has that so..

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted May 2nd, 2007 in Game Development

Ohhhhh... Right, Well fix'd.
LAST CALL for BIO's. Sending to Tem tomorrow.

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted May 1st, 2007 in Game Development

Wait, do you mean how the glass would have broken into shards and that?
---
Well here's the finished thingy, it's also the same background for the credit roll.

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted April 30th, 2007 in Game Development

There's nothing wrong with the reflection. It's supposed to be stuck to the window like red glass, thus making a red shadow.

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted April 29th, 2007 in Game Development

Alright, I revamped the old menu and made it look uber (In my opinion):
http://bay01.imagebay.com/bay.php?view=13995_
BOBHMENUXX.swf&width=600&height=350

Better, or worse?
(I also messed with Pinkskulls comment, been playing too many Megaman like games =P)

And the extras page is blank, if you want to put something in it, I trust you can do it yourself Tem?

Response to: Question for Advanced Users. Posted April 29th, 2007 in Game Development

I think what you need to put that animation into a movieclip, that's if you want it to loop.

Response to: Are there any female Flash artists? Posted April 28th, 2007 in Game Development

Theres about 4 in the BOBS collab;
Temariix, Pinkskull, Silly-stungun-millie, NimrodDevil and probably more that I can't think of right now.

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted April 28th, 2007 in Game Development

Actually yours is about a third, this is Pinkskulls... shortened.:

Em.. Hello.. My NG name is Pinkskull, I am 15 and I live somewhere
below the US and above the antarctic, I decided to enter this
collab because it is really importent for us to develop out
creative skills by making flash animations that express
emotions and in the same way cominicate with people from
other places of the world who, for all you know, may be serial
killers waiting to kidnap you, so collabs are the best way to
develope all the human skill you need. A collab is when...
(Blah blah blah)... (Speech continues for many minutes)...
(People start falling asleep )... (Turn iPod on: "I walk a lonely road,
the only one that I... d(-.-)b)...
And then humans bean to have the necesity to create toons...
(Blah blah blah...) ... (Someone suicides)...(Then nijas with AK47s
come to attack, but the speech bores them)... Then I run out of
ideas and become serious.

<Seriously><Real Comment:> Hehe.. Sorry.. Well I don't know what
to comment on. I have never been in a collab before.. I came looking
for a place here because I like the song, and there was room for
me, and I really want to learn flash and become a great animator..
I have only had flash for a few months now,... and these awesome
people let me in ='] !
My part is part 26.. It's the one with a winged guy walking, I had
a hard time with walking..Em.. Are you reading this?
..Hey, Keep on reading!.. Come On!! OI will be famous one day and
then you will regret not reading this before.. when I rule the world,
I'll have no mercy for you if you don't read this. Pay respect for me
now that I'm nothing... And vote 5 to the collab.. Ah.. Remember to
leave a review that sez "I Loved Pinkskulls Part".. Or "Pinkskulls part
was the best".. or "Pinkskull is hot".. Or stuff like that..
Otherwise, You'll pay..¬¬

Oh yeah, Almost forgot;
There are some people in the bio's who aren't even in the credits, I'm guessing they were replaced? This would mean the menu would be out of date. So I'll have to fix it up again, But I might take this opportunity to better modify it.
The font in the Bio's is the main thing bothering me.

Answer that.

Response to: little movie i made Posted April 22nd, 2007 in Game Development

People have download limits. And since it got blammed, I'm guessing it wasn't 'entertaining'.

Response to: More advanced characters question Posted April 21st, 2007 in Game Development

1. No, You don't 'have' to, But some people say it's easier.
2. Depends how good an animator you are.

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted April 20th, 2007 in Game Development

Credits have been fixed (according to the list on the last page). I'll send them at the last minute (or week literally speaking) incase there's any changes in the list.

Response to: why do first trys get blammed?? Posted April 20th, 2007 in Game Development

1. MY first flash didn't get blammed.
2. Newgrounds is for quality flash animations, hence the voting system. This isn't some place where random people can dump their 3 hour works and expect it to stay.

Um, What?
It has 121493 views on the front page games alone. I don't see how he's 'untrustworthy'. And since when did sponsors have to be Lvl 20's with ten thousand post?

Response to: Anyone ever used this... Posted April 20th, 2007 in Game Development

You'd use if if you made a colour picker type thing, like on the Denvish uploader.

And isn't the 'i' in front of everything an Apple signature, not a Nintendo one?

Response to: Boulavard of Broken Songs Collab Posted April 19th, 2007 in Game Development

That part seems alot like Nightmares.

Response to: my flash sucks Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

(Sorry for wrecking your thread =P)
I said grammar, I don't really give a damn about those other subjects you mention.
How about we have a grammar battle now?
Oh looky that, I won!

Response to: This is annoying. Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

3 things I've heard of (Haven't tested them all yet) are;

1. Put all of the sounds into a movie clip corresponding to the scene, So if you had 1 layer for sounds put all of that into one movie clip, and have it play over the scene.

2. Record silence (Or generate it with Audacity) and play it over the other sounds in stream.

3. Change the audio compression closer to your FPS.

Response to: my flash sucks Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

The irony of that is that this is the Internet, Do I need to spell that out for you too? From the looks of it, you're bullshitting about being 17. And if you really are 17, you're a shame to all 17 year olds out there. Stop being a gigantic fuck, and learn to type dickweed.

Off topic, I know.

Response to: What is your standard FPS Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

At 4/18/07 08:38 PM, neoridge wrote: i got it i think so just set it to stream effect and it will match the timeline animation to the audio at 100% correct?

Setting to stream means that it will match the timeline, the only thing that can mess it up is using scenes. (...Don't use scenes~)

I usually use 30 FPS, but I used 42 on WEA Part 1 for no reason at all.

Response to: help me optimize!!! Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

File > Publish settings > 'Flash' tab >change the audio compression

Response to: Hot keys Posted April 18th, 2007 in Game Development

F4 = Minimize all sides
F5 = Frame
F6 = Keyframe
F7 = Blank Keyframe

Try the other F keys. I can't be bothered testing them all.

Response to: help with flash Posted April 16th, 2007 in Game Development

At 4/16/07 05:10 AM, omigrom wrote: true do you do flash if so do you use tablet is it worth the money?

I have flash, But I'm great (If I do say so myself) with a mouse anyway. So I'll probably get a tablet just for kicks and for those 'experimental/random/arty' type flashes I'll make when I'm bored shitless.

BUT, The only reason I recommend you get a a tablet, is because (From what you say) you're better at drawing by hand than with a mouse. So if you're going to be a DEVOTED flash animator, I advise you get one.
