i made it from this tutorial here

S/He's talking about how to access a .fla that already has a password on it... Not create one.

Well I'd say email the person who made it maybe? That's probably your best chance, because I'm sure the person who made it might get annoyed with you if you just happen to edit his flash and put it on the internet. (That's if, you're putting it on the internet.)

Why 17+? You yourself are 15. And also, post examples of your own work. It's only fair if you're asking other people to.

Response to: Directional Gradients Posted August 28th, 2007 in Game Development

When using the bucket to fill with the gradient, drag it in the direction you want the gradient to go.

Also, there's a gradient transform tool. (It's together with the 'Free Transform' tool.)

Response to: Looking for Flash Game makers. Posted August 28th, 2007 in Game Development

Most people would probably be more interested in your game making ability, and also the art used in the game. (As you said was provided.)

Sorry for the double post - But you never told me what the products name is.

The student version is pretty much the same, except that there's huge font on the splash logo saying "Education version".
That, and you're not allowed to make money off it.

The product would be Adobe Flash CS3. If you get a previous version, ie; 8, MX etc. then it would be Macromedia Flash.

That would usually end up in wrecking it, since blood is usually one colour... I think you're talking about gore, as opposed to blood.
I usually do it like so:
Get a smaller brush and zoom in a bit. That might help.
Blood usually 'splatters' when it hits a wall, so make points of exit for the blood, and draw a thin line towards it, and a few droplets afterwards.

Search it on google.

And you'll also be needing this if you'd be wanting to export into .mp3's.

I would suggest just playing it, then recording it with a screen recorder.
CamStudio is a decent recorder that gets the job done without the nasty watermark other programs leave behind.

Response to: Mouse vs Stylus Posted August 23rd, 2007 in Game Development

Well I'd assume if you're really crap and drawing with pen and paper, a tablet won't help you much...
I personally use a mouse, mainly because I can't be bothered getting a tablet. And have been using it for a year or 2 now, and have gotten insanely used to it.
I can now draw the same with a mouse, as what I can with a pencil.
