You can drag sound files from windows into your flash library and then from the library into any stage. You will also see the waveform in the timeline. :

2 Flash Questions... Posted August 28th, 2009 in Game Development

Hey everyone its Kai here, and I finally started to get off my but to do some flash animations but since I don't know how do normal animations I decided to get some sprite ones happening.

But I'm stuck with 2 problems...

1. I get my sheets from The Spriters Resource website, but most of the sheets have a light blue background on the back of them, I try removing it using a magic wand tool in Fireworks or Photoshop but it deletes some of the sprites that I want to use...how do I remove this background so that it is transparent? Here's an example to show what I am talking about -----> Mario Sheet Example

2. Now voice acting, music and sound effects are a crucial part of animations, so how do I get these sound files into Flash so that I can work with them freely?

Help will be incredibly helpful!
