To me, it's between the original Resident Evil games and Silent Hill. The atmosphere in the first couple of Resident Evil games was 10x more horrifying than that of the current versions which rely more on the action component than the horror element. Something about a deserted metropolis really gets to me.

Sadly, games aren't frightening anymore. I guess it's because I've gotten older and the horror factor is simply absent, or maybe it's because game designers drank up all of the creative jamba juice and we're left with the derivative, cookie-cutter games with predictable story lines and lame characters.

In terms of macroeconomics, what is the prime rate an indication of? I understand that it is directly paralleled with the FFR but I could never fully identify a difference between the two, even though I understand that the prime rate is generally several percentage points higher.

Searches on Google provide me only with confused textbook definitions to which don't fully discern the difference or elaborate enough

So I've been a member for nearly 6 years without having fully delved into being an active member of Newgrounds, and I would like to dive back into the forum. I thought having a badass signature would make a good start as well (if possible, of course!)

Anyway, onto the request:

Basically I would like a signature that presents Mr. Santa Clause in a particularly badass fashion. I found some great pictures that show the type of badass I'm talking about:

An image of the fat man in the fashion of one of those pics (particularly the last one!) would be a great addition to the sig. Color suggestions: primarily red, white and perhaps green to fit the Christmas theme. Having the colors indicate a creepy or disturbing atmosphere would make it look awesome. In short: a badass, evil, creepy Santa/Christmas theme.

Suggestion: don't get any version of Windows Movie Maker. In my opinion it is a horrible tool. Just get a trial version of Adobe Premiere or splurge and buy Adobe Premiere. If you get Premiere I'm telling you you'll never want to use anything else.

I had the same issue until I resized my image so it was under 20kb. Try editing your picture to make sure it is under the 20kb size limit for icon uploading.

And on December 21, 2012 a major event is supposed to occur signifying the end of the fourth world. The fifth world being the end of mankind.

But many people don't want to hear about when they might or might not die; well tell me this, why be scared about speculatory death in the far (maybe near) future, when all death is certain anyway?

We dont know the universe is limitless. There is no fact about it. Just that it is so big us humans cannot wrap its size in our minds. It doesn't make scientific sense that something can begin without ending. I guess there are laws in the universe us humans are oblivious of, though.
And thinking of how human life will end is not something we should worry about. People say that in 5 billion years the sun may explode and create certain death for all humans. But think of it like this...all death is certain. I live my life knowing it could end at any second and ACCEPTING it, because when you think about it, does it really matter WHEN you die? When humans die? There will be no impact on the universe in our demize.
Humans will expand to very high levels of intelligence and even more information on the apocolypse will be brought to us, scientific or speculation.

I've just gotten some weird thought about how the earths population could be wiped out. The apocalypse. I mean, everything's got to end but WHEN. There's so many ways the earth could just fucking keel over and the entire human population get blown to bits. The Ozone layer, big ass meteors (meteorites???) supermassive volcanoes, little demons floating out from every pore in the earth's surface and demoralizing the living flesh off of all organisms on earth....

What is the most logical way humans will go down on earth? Personally, I think it's going to be in some Nuclear Winter. Maybe not in the near future, but we've advanced pretty quickly in

When you think about the many movies around the U.S. (almost countless movies) that have some anti-Muslim theme, I guess the Muslim world is just biting back at us. At least the U.S. gave Turky something to get a little cash from :P (and I'm 100% just kidding)

Anyway I'm not angry at the two American actors in the movie (which is appropriatley called 'The Wolves in the Valley'). But I am EXTREMELY mad about a scene I saw on TV.

It shows two Americans driving a truck filled with Iraqi women and children. The passanger of the truck says to the driver, "I don't think they can breathe back there." Then the other American stops the car, takes out an AK-47 shoots through the container killing everyone inside and says, "They're not suffocating anymore."

That really PISSED me off. I can only hope the rest of the world isn't hazed at the outrageous things Americans do in this movie (trust me, Americans dont [ except the KKK ] take out AK-47s and shoot people in the back of trucks).

And I don't think all Muslims are bad either. I am offended at this movie, but I realize why they made it. Quite frankly I want to see the news conferance when Gary and the other American (names???) come back to the U.S.-unless the already are- to see what they say, or more officially, what others will do to them.

When you think about it, Americans are actually a lot crazier than Muslims ( Mr. George W. Bush for example ).

I'm hearing rumors that some Iranian filmmakers have made an Anti-American movie. It's called something like "The Wolves in Iraq," or something like that. Seems that this movie represents the Americans in Iraq [ in the War in Iraq ] as rabid, uncontrolling men and women who blow the shit out of everything and kill, kill, kill. Though there have been many examples of such harsh actions, hearing about this movie seems to me like a huge propaganda sheem (duh?). If anyone could find any links (I'm a little lazy) or research this I would be appreciative (oh and discuss, of course.)

Well I also hope to remind you that all of his supporters are in that tight circle (also heavily populated) of North korea. As far as I know, all of the slums outside of Il's "supporter zone" think the son-of-a-bitch is crazy as well.
Sure i agree the U.S. has done some pretty stupid things, and stuck our noses into businesses of others, but this guy has gotten his people to believe (and this is true stuff based off of an episode of '60 Minutes') that the U.S. is basically a group of Nazi-like people that have concentration camps within the U.S. to burn and kill North Koreans. I know we haven't had the best relationship with them...ever, but still. And to top it off, in the 60 Minute interview, the people speaking against the U.S. for were North Korean school kids, under Il's influence. And while the cameras were rolling you could see the teacher of these school kids telling the students EXACTLY what to say about the U.S. and the kids listened!!!
And to my knowledge I thought North Korea was a militarial-based communistic government, and to my belief I thought they had the largest, or I guess maybe just CLOSE to the largest, military in the world. I heard something about 2.2 million soliders or something...maybe that was China.
Anyway I still am convinced Kim Jong Il has got this little imaginary war stuck inside his head. He's shown it by scaring us paranoid Americans with multiple 'threats' and some un-explained "happenings" going on behind North Korean lines.
And for all you Brits and other people I HATE GEORGE BUSH and i believe he is the problem for MANY of the wrongness in America, and pre conceived notions given to other countries, mostly the UK and such.

So lets see, Kim Jong Il is not a widely talked about induvidual, so let us speak of him! The North Korean communist, lets just say, he's one crazy bastard. On 60 Minutes about a year ago, he called the United States "a wild dog" or something like that, then he went on to say something like, "and sometimes wild dogs must be batted on the nose to behave." Now, is it just me, or has this guy completely lost his mind. And even less time ago an explosion was heard in North Korea. They didn't say what it was, but what if it's testing for some new types of bombs.
And after the U.S. told North Korean government to halt their nuclear bomb testings, North Korea claimed they would only consider releasing their weapon programs if United Nation missles were taken from South Korea. Now I figured all those UN missles were GONE a long time ago.
Is it just me, or has Kim Jong Il COMPLETELY lost his mind.
