I found that game quite tough to navigate easily. So that, coupled with the fact that my computer (or the game) was a little laggy and the interface seemed so BIG, I really couldn't get into it. I would say RCT 2 was more enjoyable.
I did like the coaster view feature on the third one though.

That way you know you're screwed as soon as possible :)

It's not really that boring. I find seeing retarded topics about porn, jacking off, pubes and other such uninspired teenage garbage kind of boring too. Especially since I've seen it for the last 4 years expecting it to change.
You just need more of an attention span for SA, really. Then again, you may love trolling and spam. Which, like I said, you can find here and probably 80% of the other forums on the internet.
SA's forums are way cleaner. If your definition of "fun" is talking a bunch of repeated bullshit with a bunch of people equally as bored as you, you can do it here for free. SA prides itself on its ability to keep people away who are just there to laugh at the expense of others or to be amused by ignorant hateful banter.
It encourages real conversation. A good example is that most of the topics in the bigger forums are more than 10 pages long. Which means most of the topics are in-depth and original. You are paying 10 dollars (another 10 to get rid of that stupid avatar they give you) for quality company that is supposedly not replicated anywhere else on the net. There are equally serious free forums that are not as widely known, but I prefer to keep those to myself :)

Absolutely.
Rank, be it level or postcount, should not matter as much as how you behave on the forums. Sure, an old user with high stats will usually behave less noobish (acting obnoxiously, ignoring the rules and generally behaving in a way that signals they are new) than a user who is more recent. That's why they encourage lurking.
Content of your posts is way more important than any stats, IMO.
We would buy a lot more CD's and cassettes, we'd send more mail using the post. We'd sell more stuff privately through friends and not ebay, and we would probably be more hardworking - yet at the same time we would not have developed as much as we currently have.
Oh yeah, and lonely 15 year olds would probably be less lonely and weird.
LEVEL 29.
I like this glove. I like it a lot.
I think you're right.
I think the games were the best thing to come out of that franchise. The cards and show and movies, were, however helpful in making Pokemon as famous as it was.
I played Pokemon Sapphire last year and ALMOST finished it. It's quite a good game and I intend to play Ruby or Pearl or Diamond when I can get my hands on it.

It hasn't been around for a decade.
Let's not be silly.
I love this conversation.
I was only concentrating on how good this thing would look in toy-form.
Didn't really expect to get into THE FORCE.
Guys, the wampa is the best character I have ever seen. Look at him! They come from the planet ..uh... the ice planet from Star Wars.
Seconded only by the giant robot giraffe things on the ice planet.
kre - ten.
but you have to roll the R. in a foreign accent, cause it isnt an english word.
I found about 120 dollars in a park once.
Didn't report it - just spent it all. Mind you, I was only 10.
But I'd probably do the same thing now.
That's great - a stoner magnet who points out the obvious to people who are too dumb to read about it and make those conclusions for themselves.
I think it depends on the user. Some want to read long drawn-out posts, and others just come here for links, or something to make them laugh, I would imagine.
come on people, you know how stupid it is when you start arguing about what stats make you important? And useless stats at that?
2003 lol
My name was xXkretenXx back in Dec. 2004.
I find that I can use iTunes better than windows programs for music.
I just bought one at costco for a low price of 78.99 (=90 with tax).
I was just wondering what the general consensus was among the majority of NG users towards this product? Especially so among current or previous shuffle owners.
I used to buy 12 inch rib subs, or steak subs, stuff with tons of meat on it.
Now, I only get cold cut subs or alternatives like ham that aren't as high on the fattening contents.
If I were you I would just order a cold cut - that's probably the healthiest choice. And instead of a cookie get a salad.
Subway is also quite pricey. You can get decent subs if you live in an urban area for dirt cheap. And from my experience, the food isn't THAT much different. You're basically getting the same kind of non-treated veggies and meats.
Although I wouldn't doubt that they do something to the vegetables to make them stay "fresh".
I don't normally make it a habit to keep track, but I would say about 15-20 minutes.
I have a feeling that this may become legendary.
YAY NG forums are sort of interesting again!

They're spending their earned money keeping you alive. While you complain about them. That's the point everyone is trying to make.
So stop bitching and get a job so you don't have to spend time with them. Or, alternatively, if you already have a job, work more.
Haven't read Dracula but I have read Frankenstein (or most of it anyway), and the writing style, though different I would imagine, is so well crafted, carefully written so that everything is interesting.
Very good descriptive writing.
Uhmm...
He's still a sociopath. His voice is all right but he's also manipulative and if it hadn't been that recording studio that turned him down, someone else would have peeved him enough to cause him to mess with people's minds and sent them to commit murder.
So actually I don't regret that he's locked up. The guy has problems -- and you can tell that some of his drivel and his confusing 'theories' are a result of years of LSD consumption. Which didn't seem to make him any wiser.
I liked it when it came out, but now I don't like it so much.
The movie was good action-wise (though I could have done without the constant slow-down, after the eleventh time it isn't so cool), yet devoid of much of a story. And it was short as hell.
Another gripe I have with it is that it is totally done in bluescreen, which to me is a bit of a downer, but that's just me. Some of the crazy characters in the movie were only on for about 10 seconds to 30 seconds (in the case of the gigantic elephant things), and the 3D work on the flying head was pretty poor compared to other 3d work. I mean some of the dismemberment in Gladiator that was done by hand looked more realistic. It just felt like the dialogue was very cheesy for a live action movie, and since the actual comic is so short, it had to be only like an hour and a half, which just sucked.
I don't like all the CD's and games in bigbadron's room.
Oh, how 'bout that.
Only 60-something people online at the moment. I guess I didn't realize until now, but I guess there ARE less people. Personally, when I first saw the redesign I was a little turned off, because of the new stuff that was added, and looking at all of the levels for so long and having them change kinda freaked me out. But since then it has grown on me and I rather like it. At the moment I don't think I would go back to the old design, although when I went to Wayback Machine dot com and saw the last forum layout I couldn't see much of a change.
My only criticism, and it has to do with my connection or something, but whenever I type up a post it takes forever to type it. Like now I'm typing this, but the computer is only on the segment about the wayback site ... isn't that odd?
I think so.
I've noticed a lot of NG'ers like to tell stories about having semantic debates/encounters with strangers and winning. I guess it makes them feel good in the pants.
This one, at least, is sort of amusing.
