I'm going to study Physics. My courses first semester will probably include the mandatory writing/english course, a math class(probably multivariable calc), an intro physics class, and finally an elective of my choice.

Except I hadn't even graduated HS when I made that earlier post. I'm 18 now :) ....and it wasn't exactly so far fetched, because in the end I got in to Harvard, Dartmouth, Penn, and UVA anyway.

My parents are paying the full tuition. I went to a private school in the Manhattan borough of NY, NY. I was one of the stronger students but not the best. And I'm SUPER EXCITED to hang with the best of the best for four years.

I don't think I'm allowed to sign up for classes yet(it's only mid-June) but I plan on majoring in Physics and going for my MBA later on.

They only look at high school grades. And it's impossible to say what grades you need. You can get perfect grades AND take the hardest classes possible, but still be rejected. So do your best. As a rule of thumb, though, if your school ranks and you're not in the top 10%, you're screwed.

I'm trying to build up the courage to ask a girl to prom. We're already sorta friends, and she supposedly likes me. BUT it's still nerve wracking to ask. i don't want to make it awkward, but asking her on AIM might be lame. it's just so hard to bring up the subject without being creepy.

We all set goals about our lives when we were ten years old. For those users who are no longer teens, have you lived up to the goals you set? Basically, do you consider yourself a success or a failure?

Of course i'd sell my body for all that money, but that's not a profission that i could say i'm proud of, so i'd probably just use it go get cash to aid me in my life and then stop forever.

My dad is an orthodontist, and if you divide his yearly earnings by the number of hours he works in a year, you get 230 dollars. To be honest, a lot of professions can yield 200 dollars per hour of work.

You've gotta give him a board room name. When you're named Rasheed or Mayonaisse people will have trouble taking you seriously. Give him a strong, American name. I like Michael. Makes me think of Michael Corleone.

It's not just about self esteem. When you're trying to pick up a girl, or when you're in the middle of a job interview, you will unfortunately be judged based on appearance, which includes your teeth.

Topic: Braces

Posted: 03/29/09 05:54 PM

Forum: General

My dad is an orthodontist. In honesty, it's to your advantage to keep the braces until your teeth are straight. The permanent retainer is molded from your own bite, so if you get your braces off early, the permanent retainer will just keep your teeth looking dumb.

Also, after a few months, you can get away with wearing the retainer every other night. Basically 8 hours out of every 48 hours.

And many people don't realize how bad their teeth would look if they hadn't gotten braces. Teeth that are crooked at age 12 and don't get any treatment typically look god awful at age 20. So even if you don't wear your retainer and your teeth revert back to their 12 year old state, the braces still helped.

If a good looking guy offered to do you in the butt(he'd be wearing a condom and stuff) would you accept the offer? even if you're not gay, it would be stimulating, and less boring than the stuff you usually do.
