I simply states all the respectes artists that I like and have earned my respect and admiration. They are not "better" than everyone else (altho most of their skill levels are way beyond the majority of ppl here) - they simply have different styles.

that is the excact same view i share, yet still, the entire purpose of this thread was to say who the best composer was, not to show respect and admiration to the composers u like.

well the kind of music i like is music that doesnt suck.

everyone people can say the exact same thing. when the music is changed, how good or bad it is is only changed by a small amount, depending on the contructive/and or deconstuctive interference produced by music which is the only thing different human minds really register as good or bad. but what makes peoples views on music is really based on their mind and personallity.

therefore, threads like this are completely usless, as argueing about which composer is the best, is simply stating "i beleive my view of a song is more important than your view of your song"

sigh im had dreams about the battle of the audio portal last night!

i dreamed i was sitting at my computer with a program up that would disclose to everyone the website where the songs were being judged so that they could cheat, and all i had to do was press enter. i was like nooooo! but my finger wouldnt stop slowly creeping toward the button.

now thats obviously most likely not what erkie has done, but thats how my subconsious interpreted it!

I submitted a song which i intentionally named "mainstream crap" and i made it in 5 minute flat(i timed myself, wierd huh)
i intentionally made it with crappy everything and unbalanced everything, while keeping it within "mainstream" perameters, and people still like it, mostly becuase its familiar and mainstream..

cant people just have open minds, if that happened, we wouldnt have a voting problem now would we.
or if we just all submitted mainstream music, we would all get good reviews too :p
