in all seriousness, I have watched dozens of documentaries, and been lurking conspiracy theory websites for years.

What's real sad is how easily people fall for anti-conspiracy theorist propaganda.

The majority of conspiracy theorists have legitimate questions, but mainly through the media, most people have been brainwashed into believing anyone who asked questions is in fact a nutjob.

the title conspiracy theorist is a loaded phrase. In all reality, the term either needs to have it's stigmas removed, or new terms need to be created.

OBAMA DECEPTION

the sad part is, most of the obama deception is absolutely true, despite alex jones fearmongering

Permanent brain injury

It's day 3 after my seizure, and that strange feeling, the forgetfulness, the lack of coordination and awareness is still there.

I believe that what happened was I suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning.

It's like I'm in a bad dream. this can't be happening to me. I've lost part of my mind. I've lost a few of my marbles. I'm only 19 years old. According to multiple websites, if in 2 weeks the symptoms that I'm experiences right now go away, I will know that they were temporary. If they stay or worsen, I'm going to have them for the rest of my life.

and all I can do is learn to deal with them.

Keep improving. Upload your tracks to youtube, and ask people to subscribe. Sell tshirts. Create an aim account, zooloomusic, post it on all of your songs saying if you want to chat, add me here. build a strong fan base, and send them links to new stuff asking for feedback. these are hot leads that want your links, in fact they added your screename. Keep an eye out for flash authors looking for audio artists. Figure out what kind of music career you want to be in, research it, then start making the songs that you would make if you were already hired.

just some ideas

haha all these offers are very tempting. The question is do I tough it out and finish up my last 6 months for my audio engineering degree or do I ship out and move somewhere where I can be free of my parentals!

gaddamnit I don't want to be thirty and living in my parents basement!

SEIZURE

I was hospitalized after I had an epileptic seizure yesterday. I was working with my dad and got tar all over my hands so the idiot had the bright idea of getting the tar off with industrial degreaser, aka methylene chloride.

About 2 hours later I got light headed and started losing my train of thought, then started feeling as if enough oxygen was not getting into my lungs. I started hyperventilating and this quickly broke down into full body seizures. people were all around me and I was full conscious but I was more or less unable to respond to them or control my muscles.

The ambulance came and they stabilized me and took me to the hispital, where I proceeded to stay for the next 3 hours till my parents took me home, bitches and bickering with eachother the entire ride home.

My parents are fucking idiots, my dad thought it was pretty fucking funny when he was spraying the shit on me, thinking it was "sulphuric acid", but he wasn't laughing when I was on the goddamn couch, after losing complete control of my muscles, breaking out into violent spasms. I didn't think it was funny either

At this point, I'm done with this shit, I want to make it out of this goddamn life situation alive so I can pursue my true dream of producing for a living.

The reason I am posting this here is to fish around a bit for anyone looking for a cool, clean, quiet roommate. I will bring my studio stuff and produce. if need be, I am more than willing to take up a job, full time or part time, but in all actuality, producing is my one lifes passion and goal. way more than tarring air conditioners

Anyways, If anyone here wants a roomate like me, let me know and we can skype and figure shit out. We could produce beautiful music

morale of the story: don't huff paint thinner or degreaser

How do I transpose the pitch of a channel to produce, say, a Bb when I enter a C?

Put a midi effect on that midi channel

How do I change the tempo of a project?

change the tempo number to your desired number, you may need to change the tempo setting from tempo track to fixed

What's the easiest way to edit notes, and how do I access it?

create a midi pattern, and double click it

I'll probably have more questions as time goes on haha.
Response to: Tips for mastering sub synths? Posted July 13th, 2010 in Audio

tips for mastering a sub bass in one instruction

dont master it. period. If you have a sine wav sub bass you dont need to master the thing, its one tone, and its a pure sin wav. one small tip is to add a warm distortion to the sin wav, this acts as a bass amp, boosting the harmonics of the sin wav, but don't do too much or you lose the bass!

you can try to eq it and stuff or attempt to layer it with harmonics by distorting it, but the purer the sin wav, the closer to the sub rattling power you hear in dubstep you are!

the real trick I would attempt is to put a multiband compressor on your master channel, set the lowest band to 100 hz and below, and add about 5 db to the low band(from a completely default 0ed out maximus unit, assuming you are using fl)

again, in the most fantastuic wobbly dubstep, the only thing on the low end is the kick, and a sin wav bass. thats it. all the wobbles you hear are synths playing the same notes as the bass. your synths should not necessarily have low end or you lose that clean sub bass sine wav that makes your subwoofers rattle oh so nice.

so in essence, try to keep your bass a pure sin wav below 100 hz. you can put a hipass on every single instrument channel except the kick and snare(if it has alot of bass content), this will provide your track with the low end room to really have that bass come out and complement your wobbles.

im using cubase. I know if i pan certain instruments left and right it will infact change the volume on eitehr speaker, but the varying mic locations in the 3d model of a drumkit causes subtle delays and changes in tone, based on roomsize, and distance from the instruments, as well as instruments themselves.

I want to emulate the binaural/stereo recording recording, not just in the volume levels on each side but the actual delays between instruments and the subtle changes in tone that make these recordings pop out of the speakers more

does anyone have an idea how to simulate the stereo width of the drumkit, though.

Bleed is easy to get. I guess what I'm really after here is how to get that super wide stereo drum kit that is usually created by mixing the stereo overhead mics in with the individual hits, panned hard left and hard right, as well as the width added by the bleed from the usually panned low and high tom mics

my computer came preinstalled with windows vista 64bit. the first thing i did was erase that shit and install windows xp 32 bit. never had any problems with cubase, reason, fl studio, protools, dreamweaver, flash, any of mky numerous number of vsts, or the drivers for my external audio interface.

take that microsoft and your shitty 64bit operating system backwards compatibility driver support.

in short, delete 64bit, install 32 bit

Absolute Flash Beginner Posted June 28th, 2010 in Animation

What kind of habits would I need to take up to make it inevitable that i become absolutely awesome within a few years.

I am slightly interested in beginning to use flash to start making really amazing flashes I see on the front page and top list of the portal all the time. I want to ask you experienced flash artists not how to get started or what to do, but what habits and actions I could take that would guarantee that within a few years I would be well on my way to mastery, and able to make fantastic flashes.
