You could add a sub bass, playing together with the saw bass.

And you can't rely on youtube reactions.

Using preset loops is unprofessional imo.

Theres some options.

You could lessen the low ends of both the kick and the bass so they won't clip.
Or lessen the low ends of the kick only. Or the low end frequencies of the bass only.

It's possible to have an 'onbeat' bass, you just need to EQ and mix it well.

Try out some stuff and see if it works =D
