Reading is not a problem with only AS2 (or 3 for that matter), PHP is needed if you want to write to a text file though.

I made a simple portfolio page for a uni course about a year ago which I showed to them but it basically had only games (Flash and C++), the only site on there was this one. I did mention NGM among stuff I've done, but I was aware even before I contacted them that I would have to try to sell my general programming skills more than specifically PHP because I haven't used it very much to be honest.

I'm currently studying at uni, if I didn't do that then I would probably have made sure to prep myself with everything I've got for this interview, but as it is I feel like getting the job would just be a bonus and because of that I pretty much just went with it. The general feeling is still that it went well though :)

Sorry, this qualifies as a collab, and therefore you would need to fulfill these requirements in order to run it on this forum.

It's described as open-source even though the source isn't actually released yet, but judging from this post it will be as it's better documented.

Was on my first ever job interview today :) It was for a PHP developer position, and I think it went well, but I will have to keep my fingers crossed until they call me up in a couple of days.

It's really hard to type with your fingers crossed :(

Try tracing the contents of the text field, chances are that it's some HTML baked into it. A possible solution for that would be to disable 'Auto Kern' on the text field.

Since you already have set it to stream it's likely this will help instead though (don't ask me why, but it usually works):

As henke mentioned though, you need to take another approach if you don't want every single sound to stop.

This discussion doesn't have much to do with Flash, take this over to the programming forum if you're not satisfied with the suggestions you've received this far.

The process of forming teams was over months ago, many finished games are already on here.

Also, PO3 is not a competition.

Many people put an equal sign between collab and "hey let's make a bunch of random animations to a theme and put them together". This isn't really true, you want a number of people to work together with you on this project, i.e. collaborate with you.

Yeah, if you want music there should be plenty of fitting ones in the audio portal, and if you still want artists to nominate their own tracks the audio forum should be more fitting, for obvious reasons.

You do have the BA, but at least two of your submissions have been massively upvoted. With the "real" scores your BA would be around 3.00 at best.

You are welcome to run the collab from anywhere but in these forums, your user page for example, but please don't create another thread here until you truly meet the requirements.
