I'm accepting XJT's Temperance, however I feel your Empress is a bit lacking. Therefore I'm going to have to decline it's entry.
These rejected cards will still remain in the gallery though.
I may just do that Testy.
That's so awesome, I'm jelly, I guess I need to pay the LA Dr. a visit.
No.
You learn to draw with normal artistic rules, then you draw whichever way you want afterwards, it way easier to learn the right way and then break rules then it is to learn the wrong way and slowly relearn everything correctly (I'm in that second category).
Anime/manga is nice and all, but try being that one that everyone knows by name. Oh wait, there's hundred and thousands and millions of people who draw that exact way. Wouldn't you rather just be yourself instead?
Product of the stream is I got more work done on this drawing.
Lintire, you're right, I have a tendency to not finish any of my drawings, or towards the end I end up just putting a quick end to something that needed a lot more time. I know it's apparent especially in the newer stuff because they are more ambitious than the things I've done before. Hopefully, I can improve in that regards, in terms of perspective and in terms of treating surfaces.
I lost the references to this but I am pretty sure I posted the work in progress before...
Anywho here's something I'm working on for my friend's flash.
We tried to get something goingsomewhere else but that bar actually had told us not to bring our amps or dums, just the cymbals and guitars so no other place could have us.
So we treated the people who came to some sight seeing, and tried to salvage the time best we could. And the bad rep thing was a bit too late, he was speaking over us and talking to us with his back turned, wouldn't look anyone in the eye.
Keep it Fifty, I'm a firm believer in not burning bridges if you have a potentially useful asset.
In completely related news:
My band The Planet Pluto started networking very actively in the LA music scene in an attempt to find helpful resources that'd well, help. We came across pretty decent bands and became pretty good friends and one time we played a show and invited them all to play with us, and the show was a success. Then in an attempt to return the favor one of them uses their connections to get us a show at a somewhat lively bar which was yesterday.
We call the manager of the night (read 'promotor') multiple times, to confirm what equipment needed to be brought and when we needed to be there and various other very standrad things which he said he'd email us about a week ago and never did (despite a handful of reminder calls). Each time this guy brushes us off and either gives us barebones responses or just plain does not answer our calls or texts. So then the band van pops a tire, during rush hour.
We frantically call and he grants us a thirty minute grace period and we hastiy rush to fix our problem. We continually try to keep him informed in as professional a way as possible and when we get there, we arrive seven minutes late. This happening in part by his inability to send us the email which was supposed to indicate where we park (because this place is right at Universal Studio's City Walk which has multiple parking structures) and also because when calling to ask where to park, he lectures us abo0ut being late, says he has no time to talk and hangs up.
Because we are seven minutes late we are barred from playing and lectured about how the music business works and how we let him down as he packed the bar (with a whopping four people) and now he loses money if he let's us play (cue our entourage of twenty or so thirsty fans willing to pay to drink and watch us). And he walks away from us mumbling "the show is over".
Now, even though I heavily painted this guy in the wrong, what do you think? Should we have decked this guy and his two fat security guards?
Jinberry, I like it, I think it's just gotta be serious, unless you're good at comedy. If it's serious it's likely to get in.
Bob, I'm gonna have to say that that Strength card is lacking, but then again it's a work in progress and your medium is pretty difficult.
I found a programmer, and he's set on getting the programming done in october.
I'm wondering whether or not if anyone wants to contribute to the animation aspects, or backgrounds for the animations, otherwise I'll do it.
Great work dude, people compare yah to other people (varied in style) so I guess it's a compliment that you get compared to people with drastically different styles.

70 is probably a bit generous but there are a few gems in there.
Yeah... I try not to respond in general and hope it goes away but it usually doesn't and sometimes I respond anyway.
Looking good, and yeah Bob I like the newest one best, yours vaguely reminds me of Edward Elric Kuma and Kashi, that one reminds me of the moon fromSoulEater =]
Get a girl pregnant and name the kid Art.
Looking forward to your works in progress ;D
These people are freaks, what's sexy about a girl who shoots glitter everywhere? Or a girl that kills you if she touches you?
Do one of Dazzler
Anyone know all the newgrounds holidays? I can't find 'em all in one place.
I like it, I can't tell if it's stylish because you wanted it to be, or if it is because you lack control with the mouse
Doodle of my character East in a much more american art style
You're right, I somehow missed Byrony's Temperance so I'll go ahead and add that to the completed list.
I'd like to warn everyone who has dibsed that your clock is ticking!
And Jonny, perhaps you can do the voice =]

You can take The Star, and you have as long as you want on the card, but you need to update us in three day intervals, if you can't do that then we can figure out something special ;P
Either you'tr Deadshotomega and that "design" was from Samurai Warriors 3 or you guys have the same idea except his was done first.
Trying to draw a train, forgot to utilize references, but I'll probablt use some soon ;P
And yeah the train is the correct size for the panda but not the people inside because... I dunno
Just to keep y'all informed, on my page there's a news post which is actively updated in regards to what cards are completed, what cards are open, who is working on what card and lastly, how much time they have to keep their card dibs'ed
