Now I don't know if your school does this, but my school requires that all students must wear an ID to school or else you get kicked off the premises. Now today, my mom was rushing this morning and we left fairly earlier than usual. The problem was, on my way out, I had forgot my ID card and I didn't realize until I was dropped off at school.
Because of this fucking rule, I wasn't aloud to enter the school until I got my ID back and thus had to walk back to my house (which is across town, mind you). By the time I got home, first period was over. When I tried to open the door however, I had forgoten my mom locks all the doors in the house and I had forgotten my keys as well, so I was stuck waiting in the cold for 4 hours until she came back from work. By that time, I had given up hope of going back to school and just stayed home that day.
The point of the story is, I fucking hate this ID policy. If you forget your ID, security doesn't let you in, regardless if they know you or not. You can buy a temporary ID, but they're five dollars and I was flat broke at the time. The state of my school system has really gone downhill since freshman year. Does anyone else shares this problem?
