I do have to say that I'm a little bit biased against make up and highheels wearing women. But then again I don't get along particulary well with most NORPs.

You know, Sega has the incredible talent to make everything look extremely good. But thats it. I absolutely hate the gameplay in the 3D games. "Press forward and jump at the right time = win"
It's not only the Sonic games. Phantasy Star Online/Universe suffer the same disease. Everything looks awesome, but the gameplay is incredibly stupid and.. autistic. Yeah. Thats it actually.. the new sonic games are for handicapped people. They are so simple and easy and show no innovation. This is why they were beat by Nintendo with Mario.

tl;dr: Sega is a giant pile of incredible visual artists with the ability to code 2-button games.

I only tween "nothing happens" scenes, like scrolling backgrounds. I usually prefer watching frame by frame animations too, but there are exceptions of course like Edds cartoons since he uses a good mix.
