also, the montana doesnt really make fades but it really helps. no other can will come out as clean but the fade effect itself is pure skill from the artist. that was my first tag using the fading technique im learing so it really isnt that good but i thought it looked cool anyways.

basically montana is just like super paint. everything about it is better. it is NOT the same as krylon it is WAY BETTER. for example montana wont soak into wood leaving a hella faded color, it stays bright and crisp. it also has a more stable paint/aerosol mix, which gives an incredibly smooth spray. it also gives alternate caps their full potential. if i can ill give a pic showing the difference between an average can of paint using a new york fat cap and a montana using the same cap. its pretty amazing. thats just a few examples. definately worth the money. i wouldnt normally tag with montana but me and my buddy were just killing it off. i still cant believe i dripped it tho, its pretty hard to do with such good paint. i always drip on the n for some reason...

you cant just say that you only like one aspect of graffiti because its not fair to the art form. you cant have the cool pretty legal stuff without the gritty messy tagging.

this is because every writers career starts with ghetto ass tags that look like shit, but its truly the essence and roots of graffiti. it basically works like this:

scribbles--> tags--> throwies--> fills--> basic pieces--> sick pieces/burners-->big murals and legal productions

that is basically the progression through which every writer travels. so, in fact, you do like tagging, because with out that basic step, you would never have the beautiful walls and murals and pieces that every one looks at and says wow thats cool but i hate tags. i have literally turned a tag into a piece using the exact same letter shapes. if you dont accept tagging then you dont truly like graff you just like the glossy pretty part which is like cheating.
