It needs to be centered, certainly. But more important than that, it needs some freaking color. It looks like they were taking inspiration from the classic V-bulletin forum skin.

There's just a blinding amount of white... SPACE. For no reason.

Ha. Thanks. :)

I'd happily join the Steam group as well, but I'm almost never on since my laptop has an integrated graphics card--rather than a dedicated one--and therefore can barely run some of the more intensive flash games on this site. Much less actual games like TF2 or Skyrim.

So, yeah. Heh.

Oh hey. There are ponies here.

Cool.

Response to: Searching for rapper Posted December 6th, 2012 in Collaboration

I won't claim to be an amazing rapper, but I do have a fair amount of musical experience, and I do enjoy rapping in my spare time.

If you wanna shoot me a PM with lyrics and the background track--and maybe a basic gist of the flow you're looking for--I'd be glad to give this a shot.

Ya don't say?

I was giving advice. Nothing more. He clearly isn't very happy with "needing" to make a dubstep song, so I recommended that he make music that he actually wants to make instead of just trying to please people.

No offense, but if you're making music for the sake of appealing to people, you may just be doing it wrong.

Make music that you want to make; not what you think people will enjoy the most.

I've got family and friends scattered across the NJ/PA area, so I'll be sure to keep your family in my thoughts as well.

Glad to hear the tsunami didn't cause too much trouble, though. :)

Voice-over lesson with Kyle Hebert? Uh... yes please!

Haha. I have no idea what kind of chance I've actually got--there are some really impressive entries--but I'm eagerly awaiting the results nonetheless. This is the first time I've really done something like this, but I'm looking forward to doing more in the future. :D

Nevermind. Forget I said anything. I figured out the problem and got my submission in. :)

Welcome to Double T Retail is the title. Feel free to give it a listen!

Response to: Voice Acting Contest 9 Posted October 5th, 2012 in Audio

Okay, I've been trying to upload my submission to the audio portal for well over an hour now, but it keeps telling me, "This doesn't appear to be a valid .mp3 file."

It's about 3mb and I've confirmed that the sample rate is 44.1 khz, as it's supposed to be, but it still won't let me submit. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Response to: Looking for Musician & Vocalist Posted August 30th, 2012 in Audio

I know you said that you'd prefer a female vocalist, but I would be interested in giving this a shot if you'd be willing to have me.

My range is about an F2-G4 in chest, extending up to an E5 in falsetto. Just to give you a basic idea of my vocal limits. I can push a little lower or a little higher if need be, but outside of the notes I listed, results will likely vary.

How will you be holding auditions for this? Should I just put together a track of me singing and send it off to you, or would you rather talk in person on Skype or something first?
