I listen to mainly progressive, expirmental, and mathcore type stuff. Like The Fall of Troy, Protest the Hero, Portugal the Man, and Tera Melos. But I also love techno and more ambient and calming stuff like Angels and Airwaves and stuff like that.

Eddie Van Halen hands down. He's the one that started using the double handed hammer on and pull offs.

But a guy who is destined to become a great is Thomas Erak. He has some of the fastest hands I've ever seen and while doing that he sings beautifully and screams harshly. And that pretty good considering he's only been playing guitar since 2000.

Actually it is windows, I just installed a theme for it. But unfortunatly themes no longer seem to work on my computer, so I had to change it back.

Whenever I hear mathcore, it makes me very sad, because it would be much better without the horrible vocals. I prefer math rock.

In fact, if it has the suffix "-core" in the name of the genre, I'm probably not going to like it.

Actually in most of the stuff I listen to that is considered that genre, there is very little screaming and mainly clear lyrics anyway. Just look up stuff like The Fall of Troy and stuff like that. They have very little screaming.
