But looks pretty classy because raccoon mario.
I would crucify myself. ._.
I like the sound of vinyl. I don't listen to vinyl records, but I do use a lot of simulated vinyl effects in my music because It can have a really gritty, angry sound. .u.b
Apologies for the shitty picture. I used my webcamera to be fast.

Amp, I dunno.

I dunno. Maybe. I don't really get the point of it, though.
I mean, the friend system is cool and useful, but why?

What do I get in return? xD
I could always launch popcorn at someone and record it, but I don't really feel like it's worth the effort for nothing. .3.

Uhm, actually, by definition, they are acoustic. Live? No. Acoustic? Yes.

read my comment and her answer. AND I'm gonna PM her to get to the bottom of this, because you have slapped me in the face with a leather glove and we are about to duel to the death.
I use a lot of varying method for my drums, from completely electronic/analog sampling to pure live recording.
In this particular track, I recorded live, and then beat sliced for quantization. I also over laid an electronic bass drum, and there was a lot of looping involved. The drum loops are corded, and enhanced by adding one-shot samples in playback.
I would appreciate if you wouldn't argue about me ._.
I have a method for making decent acapellas for mixes with nothing but a high quality mp3 or wave and Audacity.
A:
1: Open track in Audacity. It MUST be stereo.
2: Split the stereo track into two mono tracks.
3: Set them both to mono and invert one of them.
4: Render it as a NEW Mp3 of the SAME quality/bitrate
THEN,
B:
1: Open the original Mp3 and the edited Mp3 together.
2: Hi-light the edited track, and go to noise removal. Sample it for noise removal.
3: Then Apply Noise removal on the main Mp3. You'll have to play with the settings here a lot.
If done properly, It will remove most of the sounds that aren't vocals, and leave you with a decently clean acapella.
I hope this helps c:
Hi!
Does anyone happen to know if I can use audio imputs from Both my Line 6 KB37 *and* my Line6 GX at the same time in ableton? Someone told me it was possible but I have no luck so far.
By the way, that trippy lead glide is really cool :P

Btw, Hello there ouo;
Forget that.
I just found something better.
M-Audio has a free downloadable VST pack that includes a *very* nice vibrato VST, with lots of controls and dynamics.

I just google searched and in five minutes found jsvibrato and WatKat kit (which apparently includes vibrato)

:Well, looks like you removed it in time to avoid a ban, cause I'm assuming that "lame synth loop" was the submission with the vocal samples originally. Either way, I didn't hear it. So I've approved you.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
It's been 11 days since i posted my first track, and yet I'm still not approved. I put a lot of effort into my music and release tracks frequently. I'm just concerned that I'm in trouble for using a copyrighted vocal sample in one of my tracks, even though when I realized It I removed the audio. I would appreciate it if you could help ^ ^;

Sell your current one. Then you could use ASIO4ALL without any problems.At 7/16/12 05:33 PM, Back-From-Purgatory wrote: Throw Edison on the mixer channel you are recording through, record into Edison, then edit as needed before dragging that into the actual play list.i've had it working perfectly, playback while recording and such, directly into the playlist, using ASIO4ALL. now i'm trying to use the ASIO driver that came with the interface and it's messing up. i'd much rather not go back to using ASIO4ALL, since this driver is native to my interface and, if it were to work, i'm sure it'd sound excellent with very little latency.
That's how I do it when I absolutely must record in FL... that said, I don't record in FL often, because FL Studio really... REALLY sucks for recording live instruments.
would i be better off finding that thread that was made a while back about audio interfaces and asking there?
Here's a used M-Audio Fast Track Pro for $65. This is the interface that I use for all of my FL related work (I used to use it for audio outside of FL too, which also works very well)

I used to use a Line 6 GX (Before upgrading to the KB37, which I love), and it was fantastic. it came with a driver that is automatically integrated into FL studio called "ASIO GX" and it was gorgeous. Much faster and more responsive than ASIO4ALL. The box has only one line, and a 1/8 "headphone jack, and it costs $ 99 new. Plus is that it does come with POD Farm, which is great for guitarists / bassists, but unnecessary for people who are not (even Running synths through pod farm is always fun and unique). also for $ 50 more dollars there is a version of it that have phantom power and standard quality mic inputs.
Anyways, my point was that Line 6 has good drivers for FL studio, and the box itself takes a lot of impact on what you do, which means that you can do more before the computer maxes out on resources.

My show is about two friends, Mark and Casey, who are trying to survive during the end of the world. During some events, they discover a map with a note. The note says that this map leads to a safe house, with more survivors, food, and shelter.
Now we follow Mark and Casey as they embark on an epic journey to make it to the location, as they battle cannibals, mutants, and scavengers! And an epic enemy later on known as,"The Collector"

I'm a composer, and a musician. It sounds interesting. What type of media is it? Flash? Movie? Short film?
You can go to my profile and listen to some tunes if you want, I have a healthy variety of style from classical to techno on there, and I feel fairly well equipped for the task, if you like what you hear.

* corrects you*
You need a VST to make Digital Software music. Electronic music can be made with modern beat machines like KORG's Electribe or Kaoss pad.
At 7/31/12 03:48 AM, JoshuaBurnie wrote: Do you need a VST like NI Massive to make Dubstep songs or can you make good songs without a VST?
Native Instrument's "Massive" is a very nice VST. Not only that but it's expensive, and takes quite a lot of knowledge and skill to use to it's full potential.
But no, you do not need a fancy VST to make good sounds. There are excellent tracks done with nothing but a few 3xosc's and a drum machine.
