Actually Unity supports 3 languages; a modified version of C#.NET; UnityScript which is based on JavaScript and BOO which is like Python.

What are you using? C# can be used in many different ways such as the GDI+, XNA GameStudio, Unity and OpenGL wrappers.

How original.

Wow, you know practically nothing about the game. It has many original game mechanics but at the moment they are only for the ears of the dev team. There is nothing i hate more than what this game industry is coming too, generic games everywhere.

I'm mainly interested in the roles of 2D artist to create Logos and UI and concept artwork, I don't do 3D work.

My msn is vertmb@live.co.uk so hit me up if you're interested, I'd be curious about discussing this in more detail.

You can do UI and Logos, do you have Skype (our team is using it)?

Hi I think I can help, I'm an artist 2d
I also get along well with the character designs, especially when they are zombies

Sorry for the bad English translation of google but I am Italian

however, I just say that you need and I will be happy to collaborate

Im sorry but if you cannot speak fluent English i don't think you can join... A big part of being a Game Dev is communication between members.

Sorry.

We have:

- Writer.

We still need:

- Concept artist to do characters.

- Concept artist to do environments.

- Concept artist to do weapons and items.

- 2D artist to create Logos and UI.

- 3D effects artist to create company intros using logos the 2D artist has created.

- 3D modeler to create character models.

- 3D modeler to create weapon and item models.

- 3D modeler to create levels and level props.

- 2D artist to design levels.
- Product manager (promotion and distribution).

- Music composer.

- Sound technician.

- Network Engineer (Only if we decide to add online compatibility).

These positions can be mixed and matched if needed.

Need an artist for a Unity game. Posted September 8th, 2011 in Collaboration

Well im not 100% sure you are allowed to post non-flash collabs here, but here it goes...

We are making a game using the Unity Engine. The game is mainly an FPS game where you move around and shoot zombies.Though it adds a unique twist to the formula by adding elements from RPGs.These things are simple but effective and help differentiate PROJECT Z fromother FPS games. The most prominent system will be the crafting system. It willallow you to craft items you have collected in your journey into useful objects. These will include ammo, healing items and explosives. Another system thatwould be used is that the enemies you kill can drop randomly generated item(s).There will also be a trading system where you can use currency to buy items outof makeshift shops. The game will not be open world, it will have a linear storyline but there will be a large emphasis on exploration. The expected total length is about 7-10 hours.

The game will be released on PC through Desura and will cost 10NZD. Every member will get a split of the profit on completion. We need 1 artist the will have to do concepts for levels, weapons and characters. They will also have to produce blueprints with correct proportions and positioning so that 3D models can be created from it.

Post a reply or PM me if you are interested.

Thanks,
kingjbc.
