My favortie game all times would be LoZ: Majoras mask it was just really great and well made,

The worst game I ever played well maybe not he worst but the bigest rip off is the rugreats game for the N64, i really dont remember the actual title but dam it was just.. UGH!!

well thats mainly because the game is now a lot bigger, but it is still overpriced..

So yeah the long awaited third game on the Exmortis series is out now at www.fizzy.com for the price of 19.00 USD plus a free demo for you to play, yes its not cheap, now for those who dont know what the exmortis series is, I ll give you a summary.

The Exmortis series is a point and click horror games created by Ben Leffer, and personally I consider it one of the best horror series out there, in fact I think it can be just as if not more scary than games like Resident evil and Dead Space, I said scarier not better, dont get the wrong ideas, if you havent played the first 2 games go right ahead, they are playable here on newgrounds, its been quite a long time since the first exmortis game so dont expect too much out of it, now moving on with the main subject.

Now I must say i was a bit hesitant to buy the game at first, considering it is a flash game, however I ve been a huge fan of the exmortis series and had been waiting for this forever, I was in the group of people who constantly would check the blog every once or twice a week to see any update about the game, I was well aware that there would be a comercial version of the game, however there was a change of plans on 3DR sense, and they decided to make the suposed-to-be free version into the comercial one, leaving us (the fans) with nothing but a short demo, and this was also never anounced til the very moment of release (CHEAP MOVE) but wahtever I bought it anyways because I had the spare bucks lying around and it was a boring sunday.

Now the game starts 6 years after the second game, with the exmortis gone from earth, but sadly Vlaew has managed to start an army of his own and slowly start counquering land, you take the roll of Mr. Hannay the protagonst from the first game who has managed to return from hell to bring hope to humanity once and for all, now the main problem here is that the setting is not as scary as the first 2 games, why..? because there are no supernatural threats out there to get you, the setting on the second game was incredible to my opinion, you were in a post apocalyptic world where you were ocnstantly chased by the hordes of exmortis anouncing their presence with red boiling clouds, it was a race against time, now thats what I call suspense, here there are just.. humans and YOU are the ones with powers, that sorta reduces the fear aspect of the whole game.

As long as graphics goes, this is as good as a flash game can get in visuals, form the first screen and on to the last one, you are greeted with awe inspiring views of a post apocalyptic world, some of the so incredibly well made, that made me forget that i was playing a flash game, and one made by a SINGLE person, also Ben, as always knows how to build up suspense with the atmosphere created by the destroyed lands, there is absolutely no complain here, the game is just one huge Eye candy from beginning to end, with enough visceral and bloody scenes to satisfy any man desire for carnage.

Now as far as controls go, its a point and click game you cant go wrong here, HOWEVER the game do implements FPS aspects to the game and some extra interaction with the environment via your special powers, sadly one of the biggest promises of this new chapter of exmortis was this whole FPS c and magical powers mechanics, which while working well, the whole powers deal is implemented few times in the game and the FPS aspect is absent for almost the entire game, this is sad since the opportunity for some crazy battles comes present a GOOD number of times some times it made me feel that the game was glitch-ed/rushed/incomplete, also it implements a health system, which lead me to think that there would be many dangers on the road, once again I was wrong, the health system is used in a lazy way, and its precense is nearly pointless for almost the entire game, and even when it is used there is NO real danger or need to even LOOK at the health meter.

Now as far as story and play value goes, I d say is pretty solid in this aspect, the only problem is that the game is VERY short compared to the price of 19.00 USD, an average gamer should beat it in around 3-4 hours at best, and even if you get stuck, there is an in-game walkthroug you can check any time in case you loose your way, as far a re-playabilty goes, it exists since there ar ehidden achievements in every chapter, that are not mentioned on the walkthroug and you can also try to achieve a high score you can submit online but this is probably only a joy to hard-core players, but it does rises the possibility of spending an extra sunday on it, oh yeah also the ending is rather.. unsatisfying but i wont go on spoilers here you can PM me if you wanna discuss it.

Now to wrap this thing up, despite all my complains Exmortis is an excellent game and it leaves you wondering how a single person could achieve so much, the only problem is of course the price, it IS overpriced , and therefor I saw it with the same eyes I would see a 20 bucks game, anyways the game doesnt disappoint and for 19.00 USD is not a horrible deal, if you are a fan of the series you wont be disappointed in any way, just hungry for more, I d say the game is like having to pay 8 bucks for Coke, while good the price is not right, all in all if you have nothing else to spend 20 bucks on, go ahead you ll enjoy every cent you spent on this game.

The ebst console in my opinion is the Super NES since it offeed really deatiled grphic and a huuge variaty of games while giving alot of innovations its kinda superior to our nowday consoles compare it to the wii wich is not bad but its definitly almost all talk: THE SENSOR MOTION CONOTROL STINK virtual reality hold almost no place in videogaming in my opinion

ok you got your point, the game is surely very over played and popular but I actually gave my own explination, its a one in a gameplay oportunity as i stated before unless someone was a hardcore fan and bougt a whole load of them its completely reasonable that it never went into public and once again the possibility exists that this was limited to a number of packages as i stated before and if this happens to be true then it makes MUCH more sense that expirienced players never got the secret and this stage was limited to a number of unexpirienced 8 year old players (AKA me), I mean its not like I m just making up stuff I actually PLAYED through it, so sorry if you died on your way to bowser on your first try its your own fault for not having skill, and if it was a secret nintendo would have never allowed it to go on the Beta test, let alone on copies given to mayor reviwers such as Nintendo Power and the like just try looking things from a diferent angle:

-Nintendo never programed the stage for the Beta testers
-The copies used in the releases of it didnt had it programed because the first ones to get the game would have been reviwers in other words they would have a camera and the needed sources to make it public.
.If this was released to a limited number of copies released a few months later it makes sense that the people who lived this expirience were a bunch of unprepared people.
- IN other words while I m certain this happened its logical that a handful of expirienced gamers got the chance but once again they WOUDLNT know it was a secret because it WOULD be your first time in there so they just didnt payed much attention to it neither did I or the few people I know taht have expirienced this phenomenan so unless someone still havent played his game and happens to have a camera by and reaches the place within the first try, this secret is gonna remain like that FOREVER so I m sorry i cant give you proof but no one will ever give you proof all i can realy do is hope for suportive testimony.

Ok so this is my first post and I thought it d be something a bit interesting and I could do a bit of reasearch in the way I m about to reveal some information I have on my own and I ve never seen mentioned in any cheat code page or internet forum any help or links are apreaciated.

OK heres the scoop:
we all know mario 64 one of the most revolutionary games, etc, etc, we know it used catridages and not CDs, well few people know that the use of catridages allowed a NEW way of implementing secrets into the game and that CANT be done with CDs, HOW YOU ASK? easy, catridages offer an autosave future, in other words it would record the first time you played it, even if the game offers a file deletition feature the catridage will record forever that you have used it in the past and Nintendo used the best of this for Mario 64 in a way I would have never guessed.

FIRST SECRET: THE HIDDEN CASTLE OF THE DARK WORLD
Ok so we all remember the stage where you fight bowser for the first time its called "Bowser in the dark world" but whats interesting is that Nintendo programed a SECRET STAGE within it, how you ask? The FIRST TIME you play this stage on any of the files it doesnt matter which, the game bloks the pipe that leads to bowser and what you find instead?.... a HUMONGOUS CASTLE, yes I m not kidding the path goes on leading to a huge castle in the background the path consisted of a group of moving platforms with rings of fire between them, meaning that touching this rings wil make you fall into your death, I myself was able to play this unique expirience the first time i entered this stage, now whats so special about this castle? YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT PER CATIDRAGE and thats it, you fuck up ONCE and bye bye castle no matter how many times you delete a file it wont appear again its a once in a game oportunity, the games automatically records that you entered that stage so its gone forever. Whats insie the castle? well i DONT know, i fell on my way there, sad but truth I was a very unexpirienced gamer at the time, its a miracle i didnt died on my way there so what is inside that castle is somethhing I ve browsed in the internet many times, each time being meaning less... any given info is appreciated.

now just why would Nintendo do that?
My theory is it was a challenge, a way to test someone NATURAL skills, I mean mario 64 was one of the first games of 64 and the new controler taked a bit of time to get used to so my guess is that it was a way to test someone natural playing skill, the reason really doesnt matter the castle is there either way, what DO is important for me is knowing just what is inside that castle and JUST WHAT could be the reward, it had to be something interesting in order to put so much hard work into designing it for a one time chance to clear it.

THE SECOND SECRET: THE SECOND SEA MONSTER
Well some of you sure remember the cave like stage that was found in the basement area of the castle.. the first star implied you to go to the end of the stage and going aboard a huge lake monster well, while I m certain about the nature of this secret, I myself dont know the exact process implied to unlock it, i apologize for this, BUT what is 100% true is that this is a once in a gameplay oportunity, what is the secret a about, well i believe if you go with an specific number of stars you find a HUGE version of that sea monster and I MEAN huge the neck is just large enough to allow you to reach the roof of the cave, I m ashamed to say this but as the kid i was once then I was really scared to go near the creature so I never went to the roof, My suposition is that there is a hidden stage somewhere over the roof once again leading to some secret reward I somewhat suspect to be conected to the secret castle.

THE THIRD SECRET: THE SECRET PEACH PAINTING
Well you sure remember the snow stage of teh game, the one one at the begining and you also probably remember the race against the pengiun well what you probably dont know is that once you are at the very last part of the slide (the ice bridge) there is a hidden peach painting to the right side (if I remember correctly) now while the other 2 secret happen to be 100% truth, this one is only about 70% sicne unlike the other 2 secrets I never got to play or see this however I do witnesed someone jumping to the right and entering the peach painting leading to a green hill (not sonic) like stage while this might been my young imagination I am 80% certain it wasnt but i was young so sorry I cant give you a 100% and tehre is room for doubt I myself have no idea how to get the painting and I m not even sure if this IS A one in a gameplay chance but IT IS most likely to be, once again i believe that the stage is somewhat linked to the other secrets.

YOU WANT TO TRY THIS YOURSELF?
Sure go ahead all you have to do is get an 100% UNUSED COPY of mario 64 and visit each stage respectivly, while its very unlikely there is a chance that these secrets only appear in a limited number of game packs but this is likely not to be true since its too much of a coincidence that my friend also witnessed the same serets when he played his copy of mario 64 its just too much luck for both of us to have special paks but who knows only nintendo knows the real truth.

any secret you may know any web site you may have seento have similar info to this will be higly apreciated, thank yu for reading this (IF ANYONE ACTUALY DID)
