Hey, guys. I'm not used to Adobe Flash CS6 (or any animation program, newbie over here) so naturally, i'll have a bunch of questions in the future. But for now, i've only got a few, and I thought that discussing those questions here would be the best place.

1st: Can I crop the images?
More specifically, the parts of the image that won't be visible during the animation, can i crop them?

2nd: I'd like to shade my artwork, so i was wondering is there a way I could use the brush tool with semi-trasparent colors?
I'm not talking about making the color a bit more pale, but make the color a bit transparent so it can sort of blend with the color beneath.

I attached the thing i'm working on to give you a better idea of what i'm talking about, at least for the first question.
