Brb.

I personally find that 12345 song pretty annoying, the one you use to warm up before vocal performances. It basicaly consists of singing, to a set melody:

12345

Response to: Submitting A Midi Posted April 9th, 2006 in Audio

At 4/8/06 06:21 PM, DJ_Dinero wrote: iTunes makes this process a WHOLE lot easier. Just save you sibelius work as a MIDI, and open it in iTunes. iTunes has a command you can use via right-click that automatically converts it into an mp3, with perfect timing. If you have iTunes, use this method instead of Audacity...

Then you also get the problem of the wav won't sound exactly like how you hear it when you play it in the midi. This can be a problem if you have multiple midi banks on your soundcard (SBlives, Audigy, etc) where your media player may use a different collection of sounds to your midi software so the track will sound different, and also if you're using the wave-table based synths that the audigy and xfi series have, you won't be able to record any of the effects or any VST's you use that way.

But if it dosn't, so much the better. You submitted your track yet?

You talking about a VSTi ? - "FreeVSTFile.dll" or whatever...

Right click and Save-as - put it in your vstplugins directory - probably "C:\Program Files\Vstplugins" if you're using Windows. I have no idea where they go on a Mac

Then you'll need a VST host of some sort to run it

I'm 99% sure it's C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins, even if you don't have any steinberg software. Try putting your VST's into that folder, and if it dosn't exist, create it.

Medieval-

Classical/Romantic

Contemporary
Roughly 1900-now

The official dates for Medieval music is 476-1400 AD, but if you have no idea what the difference between Medieval and Baroque is, you probably meant Baroque when you said it.

But, if by 'Medieval' you mean Baroque, then you're looking at a date range from the 1600's to the 1750's.

Clasical dated in before romantic, at the dates of 1730 to 1820, while Romantic, which is much more akin to todays modern music begun existed between 1815 to about 1910.

Since then we've been in what has been refered to as '20th century' music, regardless of the fact it's the 21st century.

Agreed, although I must say, techno is a pretty old style of music now. Techno basicaly inhabited the late 80's to late 90's, and has all but been replaced by trance and dance.

It's a bit like how the classical section has about 3 tracks that are actually classical, whereas the rest are 20th and 21st centuary orchesteral.

or you could use something like, wavelab to cut the bits of each song you want then use something like Reason, Cubase etc etc to put the track together.
but for something like this, i personally would use Logic pr0 7.

Also it would be illegal, because all of the songs you mentioned except AYB are copyrighted.
