I think you guys jumped ahead assuming it should work that way, what I want is something like after effect puppet warping.. I never heard of flash being able to do that.. maybe with a simple square (which is why I want to treat the tree as if it where a square with the tree just painted on it, so it wouldnt mess up)..
I uploaded the fla file to my dumping thing:

Im new to newgrounds, not sure if the link will work just like that.
The file have both tween using the same first last frame.
I exported it in flash cs6 format. What I did is convert your art into a symbol first and skewed it that way. This way your only adjust one image instead of several. Make sure the anchor point is in place (the white dot when you use the transform tool) so it can pinpoint where it should move. I notice you set tree to "create 'shape' tween" instead of "create 'motion' tween." Shape is for doing morph shapes but it can cause distorted(milkshake in your words) results unless you play with the shape hints. I tried using the shape tween /w hints on your image and still did the distorted effects.

can you post in the dumping grounds so we can get more information on what is happening?

but the punching arm is to far right. if you imagine his neck to be the centre, the shoulders should have each about the same distance to it (while punching)
thanks for feedback. I am planning to doing a "trick" camera rotation on this scene by simply moving the foreground and background around. which is why the posing looks more towards the right. I like how the punch is facing toward the camera. *cross fingers* to see if I can pull the illusion off during final production.
Wall punch test. I needs smoke effects

I think the problem is that you've been using those square guides not only for proportional accuracy, but also to develop your sense of animated motion. Those blocks may be useful proportional guides, but they will not teach you to create appealing, believable motions.
Try studying more fundamental animation concepts like ease-in, ease-out, extreme poses, passing poses, arcs, timing, antics. Those little test animations are a great way to practice. Also, avoid moving shapes around and draw each frame over again to practice drawing quickly and accurately.
It'll lead to better keyframes and will thus make your animation look much more fluid even with less frames!
yes I realize the block guide makes things too stiff but I been too far into this method that it will be time consuming to change. I am using a different game plan in the next project where I should be more aware that 2D animation is actually more flexible. I think I had a discussion on this with JKR on page 3 on this thread. Thanks for the feedback dude.

P.S, Yes, you're animations are very professional looking from my perspective.
Thanks. criticism will always be hard to listen to but the audience is always right. I try to look at the positive things such as the rating bar and that my film has an audience. in order to keep my spirit up.
attempting to animate a "close-up" while keeping it in perspective
Walk test. Its lacking details because this scene is suppose to be smaller.

Just a little survey to see if what I should upload my animations in. I like the fact that I can adjust the volume from within the player but I also love creative preloader menus.
Anyone want to give their opinion?
Would links to tumblr/twitter/facebook a replay button, maybe a cool little game while the game loads (which would be pointless because internet speeds are so fast nowadays), count as fully interactive?
That is a point too but it all depends how the interactive parts use. This is all just my personal preference. I remember watching a movie but it sort of acts like a game but than again you can say its a straight up game. I cant remember what it is but its made for children where the movie plays but the child can also mouse click the objects that plays an animation that can make the movie feel more engaging.
To me this is a feature that makes it worth being interactive.
Also having link buttons to twitter/tumblr is nice but if it replaces the timebar, it does makes things less convenient for me because I like to watch a specific scene several time with the aid of the timebar. Maybe one day newgrounds can add a annotation feature that can aid for the link buttons
I have nothing against the mp4 and flash. It just all depends on its used for me. I am just providing feedback based on my experience with them.

Feels like that I am working slower and slower. Maybe I need a break by playing video games. The bottom frame looks strange because there suppose to be bathtub in the foreground.
finished the scenes with this character. On to the next character.
Still needs some more frames on some spots. I will adjust the eyes and the hair when I do the finalize line work because it looks too frozen.
this one was quite easy to do.
Finally got this scene done. Her scenes should be "easy" to do from now on.
Holy shit this was difficult to do. This is only half of the scene. Some parts appear to have symmetrical timing and I will need to remove some frames to fix that.
starting on another character. its still on its rough stages so it looks messy.
follow up of the previous animation. Done animating this character and now I need to start on the next. Wow this project is taking longer than expected....
spliced two scenes in this one. Added more in-betweens and decided not to clean it up because they make for good reference once I do the finalized line work.
Follow up of the previous post where its a slow motion turn. Needs more in-betweens,clean up, and hair movement on this one. I'll post a clean up version when its done. Getting sleepy....ZzZZzZZz
Not much here. Just surprise turn around in slow motion. It needs in-betweens in some spots
This still needs hair movement. The hair is just there as a placeholder for now. Still a lot of work to do. There is around 36 scenes in this solo project.
Here's another one. I plan to add hair movement during the final line art process.

1st: Can I crop the images?
More specifically, the parts of the image that won't be visible during the animation, can i crop them?
2nd: I'd like to shade my artwork, so i was wondering is there a way I could use the brush tool with semi-trasparent colors?
I'm not talking about making the color a bit more pale, but make the color a bit transparent so it can sort of blend with the color beneath.
I attached the thing i'm working on to give you a better idea of what i'm talking about, at least for the first question.
I hope you guys can help me. Peace!
I'll answer #1
You can do that by masking. Create a layer that is used to crop the image. Right click the crop layer and set as a mask. Attach the mask layer to the layer you want to crop. You can also right click and set to "show masking" so it can only show the selected image.

I remember watching a full tutorial of toon boom animate pro 2 on youtube. You can check that out.
This still needs some work on the gun details and muzzle flash effects.
