It's simple. Body building IS retarded, but "weight lifting" makes you more confident, sexy, energized, and generally happier.
It's not always lifting weights too, I do 3 different kinds of squats/crunches just on the mats, and about 30 min of running a day for cardio along with the machines.
It's not all about how much you can bench. I can only bench 50 but I can shoulder-press (legs) 300...I love hearing people argue the fact that they could kick my ass because they bench more than I do. It's funny up to the point I put my foot through their face.
