My bad for not being clear, I was saying Iran killing Western civillians, I know that Iran cannot nuke all USA, but they can nuke a large amount of US land. Which will cause some fear.
After the Shah of Iran left, whats his face came in and destroyed basically everything of the previous military state. That included the nuclear program. If they do have the ability to 'nuke America' its with goat milk and oil cakes.
Lives are precious and as few as possible is best in this one's opinion.

No...shouldn't and couldn't happen.

Most past conflicts, from long ago, were caused by religion. Different beliefs lead to destruction in almost all cases, and this is present with almost all fights; people are other from you, you will never fight someone who you share reality with.
Past conflicts often reffered a lot to greed as well. Land and gold was the top currency and those with more of both were the more powerful states.
Governments have been the cause of several conflicts. This was shown as one of the most important things that the people outside of government have; revolt. Recently, however, every means of communication has been tapped, and some governments have intentions to block every way that we could plan revolt.
No...most communications are tapped now to find criminals. Actual criminals. Revolt is expressly not a means of overthrowing a government anymore...not a more 1st world government anymore because they wield all the power. Besides...we could plan revolt together, as in within the near vicinity of eachother.
Greed. In another majority of cases greed has been the goal. Invading Iraq for weapons of mass destructions? Pfft, America has nuclear bombs, which can and most probably will kill us all, unless we stop it before that.
That was done for oil!
No matter what it was done for, it has accomplished its task and should move on. Nuclear weapons have a couple of times proved to be useful. Not always, and not even a majority of the time, but they have presented some good from themselves.
In the end, wars and conflict are fought because Humans are often repugnant and idiotic. No matter the Religion, Government, or Greed, these conflicts are fought either for a good cause or a bad one...and most often, both of those scratch eachothers back quite often.
We promote abortion
Yeah...lets not kill the babies before they get a chance to even see the world.
lower the age required to buy a gun, hell lets just arm everybody.
Ok...lets say five so children can shoot their parents when they don't get candy after dinner. Lets not try this one either.
have poor people required to join a term of service in the military
Why just poor people? Hell...lets be like ancient Sparta and have everyone blow the world all to hell.
and for the hell of it, let the military use illegal imigrants to test their weapons.(i'm kiddin about the last one)
Not even funny.
Let's think of all the benifets of having a smaller population. Less strain on the economy, dependacy of foregin oil will decrease, and with a smaller population we can afford to import smarter people from other countries. Who agrees with me?
No one but idiots.
I dare any of you to argue this, for you shall lose; it is a fact that Russians have a richer culture and history than all other nations, a more fit people, and are destined to rule over this world above all others.
Hey Hitler Jr.! Just wanted to say you're a little too much into nationlism...in fact...lets skip the term nationalism and go straight to nutcase!
Those that fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. No one has ever controlled the entire Earth, and without there just being one person left after WW III or WW IV should it come to that, then no on ever likely and most probably will.
I'll admit, Russia has shown to be an okay nation with headstrong ideals and way too much pride. But this is just crap. Nations stand united against World Threats...and Mother Russia would lose quite a bit of territory in order to repay the winning side for its actions. Won't Finland be happy again...WW III means more terittory for them...not to mention Latvia, Estonia...and what else borders Russia that I can't think of.
I think they have a point. Why isn't it illegal?
Serious are you?....no words can describe my pity for your lack of a serious and developed intelligence. Your cavewoman's back home...go ask her.

What the Hell? I don't mean to sound rude...but seriously, was it a joke or an actual personal statement from your vault of knowledge?
If its a joke...then its funny. Humans...as pathetic as we are, having the ability to be like Angels...LOL. Thats funny.
But if its an actual statement from your....etc., etc., then wow....I can finally go home and tell the wife I can come back this time...because it could always be someone more insane then me.
I'd like to start...seeing as this hall is rather empty right now anyway...
Personally, I wouldn't have a clue as to what religion I am, and mostly don't care what ends worth. I mean, I've had training for Sectrain...but that was when I was younger...and a lot of it is weird as is.
The modern religions of agontism (was that how you spelled it?) and atheism...wow. Can someone explain what these even really mean. Atheist is where you believe in no god right? No supreme divine being or beings out there. Does that mean that the other...Agontism or such and other...is where you'll believe it when you see it? That sounds right, but I'm unsure. To be frank, both sound rather dull. Its fine to believe there is no one better, or that you'll believe it when you see it...but Religion in at least some form gives assurances of the great unknown to us weak and mostly pitiful Human race.
I hate to quote this so often but as Albert Einstein said, "Science without Religion is Lame, and Religion without Science is Blind." So...maybe both are fields of the Universe. Maybe Science is just a crackpot that some God or the God made to fool around with our minds. Maybe Religion is just a bunch of Farmers and Herders that really needed something more to do than Hoe and Herd.
But whether or not on anything, I think Religion...for the time being in the very least, is a great way to provide good morals to people...that many desperately need...and comfort about the great unknowns.
So until Religion in general or specific is proved or disproved...its really just a good way to make decent moral Human beings. Otherwise...Sunday is still sleep till Noon day.
That sounds like something they would do.
Just a little bit of time on yours hands huh? lol.
Anyway, thanks everyone so far for speaking. I don't really have much to add besides that.
Also, what TV show?
I am forced to agree even though I HATE the fact that the scum get off and walk away. This law is needed to keep the system from possibly abuseing some one. I mean the system was founded with the idea that it is better to let a hundred guilty go free than one innocent be placed behind bars.
That is depressing....but....I suppose it has to have some merit.
Otherwise, I believe it is fine the way it is. Can't say I've seen or heard of any trials that it would be questionable as to whether or not the jury was just a little dull in the head.
And nobody better bring up Michael Jackson. I've heard enough of that.
I know this is already highly debated outside...meaning I haven't seen anything on here about it. But what does everyone think about whether we actually did or did not land on the moon in 1969. If they didn't...twelve men would forever be shunned by history. lol.
Anyway, personally I think that we did. You considerthe fact that we know we have had satellites in space, and we've sent them across the solar system...close enough to take pictures of Pluto's surface...meaning the Viking I and II, I believe.
Why would it not also be possible for us to have landed on the moon, with people? I mean...some of the science we have and even did have, eight days couldn't have too difficult...minus Apollo XIII of course.
From what I've talked about with my friends, I believe that the only way to prove that there is truth in religion is if you prove to a person that religion (though illogical), is logically correct. But because your using logic to prove that religion is truth, you cant use anything religious to prove your arguments.
Many times have I debated with my friend of God's existence, yet she can't prove it without using the Bible. Because of this, I keep thinking "Oh, what if I'm a Muslim? Does that make my religion incorrect? What makes Christianity or Catholicism so correct?" And she would keep saying "Because God created you and me" and all that jazz. Obviously you see where I'm going with this.
Ummm...I think that though Christians or whoever may be correct about a God or Goddess or plenty of both, is that....whatever will happen, will happen because thats how we made it so. So...what does it matter after death? The Christians...if taken on a lighter view, have some good morals to learn....like 'Thou shalt not lust after thy sister." And stuff like that...
So from this, I've come to the conclusion that religion is illogically correct, whereas science and philosophy are logically correct. What makes religion illogical? We'll I dont see God raining poison dart frogs from the sky every time someone does something against the 10 Commandments.
But my question to you is if I am able to use this as an argument. I know I've been kind of shakey with philosophy in the past, and made myself look like an idiot, but now its just a question.. >_>
As for an arguement? Slightly. A quote from Albert Einstein, "Science without Religion is Lame, and Religion without Science is Blind." Though he was a little biased in that statement...considering his zionist state, the words he spoke on that are wise. Religion has often lead us to greater good....like being morale with our scientific studies. For example....lets not use a sentient human first....we'll try this dead rat instead.
However, science alone can explain too few things for us, and humans need some solace about death.
I have a better idea. Why don't you just fuck off? If you're not proficient at speaking english, then don't debate on a forum where english is in the majority of spoken languages.
Tu es stupide, non? Tu ne parle pas francias? Tu ne parle pas espanole? What does it matter what languages we speak guys? This is about a totally different topic than what language we speak. Stick to the main idea.
LOL. Yeah, I know what you mean. It is awfully distressing that people use double standards, as is mainly with the N-word which I'm not gonna say anyway. But...I suppose you may have a point. However when it comes to the N-word...I just don't want to say it. If it was used so wrongly long ago, why use it now?

Do you mean the KKK kind of clan? Or some other smaller one. Because technically, there is nothing wrong with walking down in a KKK little robe thingy. Ever hear of the supreme court case that involved a city making a large payment required of the nazis that lived there from having their parades or march...something? Its the same thing with the KKK. You can do it all you want, don't expect kind words from anyone...but you can legally do it.
I believe that the meaning of life is as we will see it. If we take something as good, then it'll be good. And if we take something as bad, then it will be bad. No matter how anything comes and goes, the meaning of life is as we take it.

You confuse me greatly....I understand that saying curse words are not really a thing to be worried about. But I can see the other side. Its the connotation that matters. Like when someone says, "You suck!" The connotation would be that you suck dick.
In our 'polite' society. That would simply be unacceptable. lol.
Helping people is a good thing. Uniting together is a good thing. And America has a nice almost clean sheet record paper of its military actions on a general basis.I disagree. We've been using our military to not police the world, but to control it. We've deposed democratically-elected governments. We've assassinated elected officials. But worst of all, we've done all of it to promote our country at the expense of the foreign countries involved. We are bullies, we are imperialists.
The American military-industrial complex makes our overseas wars beneficial to us economically, and the corporations manufacturing weapons (I point the finger at you, Lockheed Martin!) are dictating large aspects of our foreign policy. We are killing civilians and foreigners ruthlessly overseas to strenghen our own global superpower.
Never say that war can be a clean thing. Every nation that has ever been involved in a war has a dirty record, especially the imperialists in America. There is nothing clean about a state-ordered murder, especially one ordered by a selfish empire.
Holy moley....ummm...I can't reply to the whole thing, but this is the part I wanted to do the most.
So here goes! I never said that our slate wa entirely clean. I was simply pointing out that we have made mistakes before. For example, we fought the Revolutionary War for freedom. We fought the War of 1812...so we didn't have to pay British all the money we owed them....that and we kind of owed them a lot.
If you look further, The Mexican-American War was fought to free Texas from Mexico at its worst. The Civil War has many blemishes but it can be seen either way that the Union wanted to free the slaves or to just regain the Southern States.
Spanish-American War can go both ways as well. Either we were portecting out interests in the Caribbean, or we really were getting revenge and justice for the attack on our ship in Havana...or some other port. Blast it!
Just a decade and a half or so further into the future, and we come across WWI. Americans enter in 1917, and the war ends in 1918. America could of used this war for many reasons. Maybe to step up the military power and stop looking at horses with longing in the military. Could be because we were protecting our allies over seas...even though we were still kind of isolationist.
WWII...highly debated and still no one has any concrete proof of anything.
Korean War...my memory falters greatly.
The Vietnam War....also highly debated...even though Ho-Chi-Minh was once our ally.
As for the present...you could very well be correct.
I would like to point out something about the shah of Iran. You never know if we controlling him. We were supplying him yes. But controlling him would require further and more concrete proof.

Got think though...something Albert Einstein once said...
"Science without religion is blind, Religion without Science is blind."
When it comes to science, religion in some form should be taught. Maybe not in public schools, but in some private schools perhaps?
