Why would you do that when you can buy it off Steam and download it now?

As much as I hate rap with a burning, impulsive, spastic, and inconceivable passion, your friend is wrong. That's like saying listening to metal makes you emo.
No.
Also, http://www.gamefaqs.com
To keep this thread from being locked, I'll try to describe why these are my favorites.

This was my first Kirby game, and it was FUN. The music was awesome, and the bosses were even more awesome.
3D Platformer: Super Mario 64
My all-time favorite game ever. I still bum around Bob-omb Battlefield every once in a while.
Fighting: Dragon Ball Z Budokai
I grew up with DBZ, and this was a fun game back then. It managed to make the story of DBZ interesting, something that the newer titles never have done. Also, Cell's still a prick to beat.
Racing: Burnout Revenge
Traffic attack. 'Nuff said.
Rhythm: Rock Band
I prefer Rock Band's style and soundtrack over Guitar Hero. It's fun and accessible, and it offers both cheap and professional fun with the 3rd title. I like.
Puzzle: Tetris (GB)
TETRIS ON THE TOILET YEEEEAAAAAAH!!
Arcade: Pac-Man
Though I'm not much of a Pac-Man fan, I do like playing it. Simple fun.
RPG: Paper Mario
One of the few RPGs I played through, this one was great and amazing.
FPS: Left 4 Dead
I've played a lot of FPSs. The only FPS I truly enjoyed playing was Left 4 Dead. The feel of a zombie apocalypse and limited ammo, reminds me of Doom in a way. One of my favorites.
Visual novel: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Awesome series that any person should play. I played the first one, and the game was a nice reprieve from all those action games.

So weeaboos don't like that it's appealing to Western audiences using a Western game engine with the info from interviews and no story or gameplay trailers nor demos to show what they even have done to the series.
Oh, that convinced me not to buy it indeed.

If you can answer my questions for me then I will be willing to listen to you.
Or you can whine, piss, and moan even though you're going to buy the game anyways or just hop on the bandwagon CUZ IT MAKES YOU LUK FOKCING COOL!
^ This. People should use some brain power and actually look beyond a vague trailer. To which we don't have any. If you really hate the look, DON'T BUY THE GAME. People who are true fans will like the game, while you losers stop complaining about it and move on to complain about something else. Everybody wins!

I take it you're one of those gamers that compare Smash Bros. to "real fighters", eh? Like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? Yeah. It's obvious that Smash Bros. can hardly compare to a real fighter. But that doesn't mean it's not fun. It's hecka fun to play, albeit "unbalanced" compared to other fighters. That's because it's more of a party game. The developer himself said it was meant as a party game. Take a moment to stop comparing to games of a similar nature and play Brawl. It's still fun, and more fun with actual people than online anyway.
I'd say a PS2 or PS3.
Super Mario Galaxy (1 and 2)
Metroid Prime Trilogy
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Goldeneye 007
Mario Kart Wii
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
The Conduit
Sin & Punishment Star Successor
Sonic Colors
NBA Jam
And for WiiWare:
LostWinds
World of Goo
Megaman 9
Dr. Mario Online Rx
And Yet It Moves
If it's based on the Clone Wars, then yes.

A hold-my-hand button? Sure, why not.

So no challenge either? Okay.
Blood instead of those stupid hit sparks
Also, blood and gore =/= better game.
Faster gameplay
Street Fighter already has blazing fast gameplay. Just look at the 50+ reversions of Street Fighter II that make it even faster than the original.
Juggling
That would be useless and stupid.
Hats
No no no no NO NO NO NO NO! Team Fortress 2 is a mere fraction of what it was now because of hats. Hats ruin games.
If all of these ideas were applied to a street fighter it would be the greatest fighter ever.
GB2 your FPS games, please.

You're not going to be able to replace your parts. Laptop parts are integrated, which means they're permanently stuck on the motherboard. You're not upgrading anything, and if it were possible it'd be difficult replacing parts out of the laptop.
You're better off getting a desktop for games.

Hey guys, let's compare a commercial monthly-fee based game made by a large-name company that's been in business longer to a browser game made in Java by an Internet company! What a just and fair comparison indeed!

No, I think most of Newgrounds hates the Wii too. A lot of them are voting it as worst console of this year in that voting thread. And this year's been one of Nintendo's better years since it came out. And compared to the PSP this year too? Newgrounds hates the Wii.

Boy, you better do some research.
Also, $60 for ONE YEAR? Are you guys that cheap, really? That's a price of a new game for God's sake. You all say it like it's another monthly, expensive bill to your list of house payments. Xbox Live ain't that expensive. $60 at Christmas, there, good 'til next year. I know PSN is free and offers about the same content, but geez, you people are over-exaggerating the price Micro$oft charges.

It's one thing to be a fan of a platform; it's something stupid to limit yourself to one. I know PCs have their advantages over consoles, but that doesn't mean consoles don't have great games too. Heck, even the Wii's got a decent assortment of fun games worth a lulz.
As far as Combat Arms, make another account and stop being a jerk online. You won't get banned if you're nice. If you want other free games, look up Urban Terror, Nexuiz, and Warsow. And for commercial games, TF2, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty 4, and possibly Black Ops if it's up your alley.
Don't you have a gaming computer, Jack? Then OnLive would be EXTREMELY useless to you. I mean, I have no say in what you do seeing how the Internet's for everyone, but I'm just saying if I had a decent PC I'd kick my OnLive account to the dirt.
If only we had a website that can scan your computer's specs and tell you if a game can be run on your system.
