Epic Mickey's got a neat style with it different from what most Disney-related stuff goes, but I honestly didn't find anything special about it when it got hype. Seems like it turned out the way I thought it would. Not total rubbish but not necessarily great. Any ad can self-proclaim itself in any way, but I don't think a commercial would go that far. With all the hubbub about the iDevices' technology and capabilities, it manages to take interest to game developers. We've seen some games released on the iPhone. But what I'm wondering... is it a viable game platform?

For one thing, the iPhone isn't really meant for gaming. It's a phone. Hence the name iPHONE. The only remarkable difference that it has is that it's by Apple. Heck, I suppose a developer could have success with making a game of the same manner on an Android OS phone. Apple's business with the phone is with the mobile market, not the portable game market.

And yet, there are tons of games available on the iPhone, and it's one of the device's prominent additions. And with companies such as Capcom, Epic Games, and Squeenix also taking an interest in gaming for the device, one could say that the iPhone has the bonus of becoming a platform in its own right.

That's my two cents, now I want to hear yours. Do you think the iPhone deserves a spot as a game platform? Or should it go screw itself and stay in the mobile department?

If your internet is good, try OnLive. It's a service that streams games to your computer no matter how crap it is. I know it has issues as far as the PlayPass thing and what-not, but the service is free and you don't HAVE to buy a game (pass), so I see no issue in just trying it out.

Same engine =/= same game. Infinity Blade more than likely boasts a modified version of the Unreal engine to work on the iDevice's specs. Gears 2 would have to be heavily modified to run on the iPhone/Pod touch/Pad.

Why limit yourself to only one platform? I have to say it's very ignorant for a gamer to say another platform is better or worse because they either don't have it or are too ballsy to play with a keyboard and mouse/controller/motion controller. Now income problems, well, I can understand, but why be a prick to everyone else because you think your opinion is fact?

All I'm saying is that if you don't appreciate games no matter what platform, you aren't a real gamer. You're just being a jerk. But why pick only one of the platforms and call bullcrap on all others? What's your excuse that makes you think your dick's larger than others?

If they're on PSN, then yes. You can buy games if the games are on it. Just checked the store, and they do in fact have ZHP and Power Stone Collection for download. I have a crap-tastic PSP-1000 too, and it'll let you download games and play from the card instead.

Also, I recommend using Media Go for PC to download the games. The PSP's wi-fi is utter crap. You can try your wi-fi, you might have a better connection, but if it takes forever and a day, try using the Media Go program.
