The big thing for me is, it happened right next to McChord Air Force Base which went into lockdown. That in turn put us on high alert, and because of the recent Ft. Hood shooting, made everyone a little jumpy because we didn't know at the time if was an attack on McChord. Its deplorable what he did, and while some of you may disagree, some people just need to be killed.

I would think joining one nations' military service after getting out of another one would be next to impossible, honorable discharge or not.
If you had a dishonorable discharge, they'll know your a shitbag, and they won't want you.
If you had an honorable discharge, they'll most likely be suspicious of your reasons wanting to join and probably not take the chance.
Either way, you'll give up any services from the military offers after you get out, you'll have to become a British citizen and if you do end up getting in, its considered treason and you'll never be allowed back into the United States ever again.

On the actual news, Ft. Hood is a major reciving and deployment point for the US Army. The fact that there was three gunmen and one of them was a Major makes this a very ominous story. Rumor is that he was notified he was getting deployed, and was upset about it. This is terrible news and the fact that a military service member turned on his own men is very saddening to hear.

Don't get me wrong, I love FPS games and hell, I even do this stuff for a living, but I present to you 5 reasons why this game will suck:
1. Anticipation: People have been waiting for this since COD4 came out, and there is a huge campaign promoting this game and with such a huge crowd buying this game, a considerable amount will be disappointed and cry heresy on this game.
2. 13 year olds: When was the last time you wanted to play some GoW2 and you chainsaw a dude, next thing you know, your getting called a n00b by some 13 year old punk?
3. Cheaters: With such a large crowd, gamers will find glitches and they will exploit them, ruining the majorities' fun for their never ending quest of stat whoring.
4. Wanna join my clan?: I did ok in a round, whoop di fuckin' doo, next thing I know I have a half-dozen messages with people wanting me to join their clan. No I just want to play the game and leave me alone and stop sending me friend requests
5. Fanboys: You guys are loyal to a fault, god forbid someone say negative of this game, you'd rather skip the logic highway and instead take a detour down "burn him on a crucifix" avenue. They must take a page out of the NG's atheist vs. god debate forums and resort to mythical facts and endless "your a fag" comments.
