Before the layout change i remember being able to see if people favourited a song of mine, can i still do that? I cant seem to find it.

Well i put up a little demo of a song i was making and now i have added to that song and wanted to replace the old audio for the new one so i edit the submission and upload the new file and when i check out the preview the new song is there but when i publish it the old one is always still there, if someone knows what im doing wrong please tell me because i have done this before and it worked then without problems. Thanks in advance.

This is a song including a sample from the song hypnotize by young jeezy...
I haven't really finished this so i'm looking for some criticizm.

It really changes by the way people use it. I can honestly say that when i hear these songs that flaunt their auto tuned-ness in my face i never like them. I really don't like auto tune in the sense that it creates a broader target range for singers i.e. everyone can become a singer with the help of some program. There are people who shouldn't be in the music industry but are now rich as fuck for doing something they shouldn't be doing, of course it works the other way too in that sense that it helps the talented ones sound just a little better but in my eyes these sorts of things are a little bit like cheating.

yeah i tried for some time, made every possible sound, some good, some bad.
But i just didn't manage to take away that annoying click sound.

yeah his songs sound cool but i don't want to rate them since i don't know how much he does himself and what the program does.
I might be acting like an asshole but then again i don't seem to be qualified to rate his stuff.

I was on the audio portal and i was checking out some songs going to write a few reviews and then i listened to a song and it really sounded like it was made in some kind of e-jay program.
I really don't want to rate or review any songs made in e-jay, i used the program in 5th grade and grew bored with it.
There really is no musical talent needed to make songs in these programs, it's like an easy game of tetris.

So what i was wondering was, has e-jay changed? And if it has changed, has it changed in such a way that you actually do some of the work yourself?

I dont really think that writing computer game music is any different than anything else right now.
Just need to find out what atmosphere the game has and write music around that.
I would just study video game music if i were you.
Silent hill, zelda, final fantasy.... well they are the best excamples of how things should be done.
Other than that there is not much i think.

Im trying to change the tempo of the song i have so i change the speed rate in the lower left corner beneath the audio tracks to 1.17 my desired speed.
But when i export the song plays in 1.0 or normal tempo.
Can anyone tell me how to make my desired tempo stick?

Wow you guys are so narrowminded, i would not expect this from people who listen to metal since you actually have to defend it against people who dont listen to it.
Of all of those genres i must say i hate metal the most, i went to a metal concert and after one song the singer admitted that he had totally forgotten the lyrics and was just screaming some nonesense.
Rap tells a story, though most of the rap today is garbage there is some really good underground stuff out there, the intelligent rappers that wont make it on the radio because the world is fucking retarded.
