FlashDevelop is the only real way to do AS3. I'd be willing to help if you need any.

I'm trying to make an animation of my character running right play as he runs right and want to know how I can achieve this in AS3 I, I am new to flash so I have only learned some basic running and jumping etc., please help.

Making a plat forming game and im trying to make the animation of him running left show when I hold down the left arrow :S any idea how I can show certain animations while the arrow keys are pressed?

I have dabbled in flash in the past but now I am looking to start making games, BUT, I suck. I would like to just talk about flash with people, from errors to ideas and so on.
