well, i suspose that it would make sense for facts to be blindly ignored, if only for hope. i am in favor of science, but i will not discount that religion is something that is easy to fall back on for those who believe it. it represents hope, that no amtter how bad it is for you here, it will always be better after life.

sadly, for the most part, that is true, and i apologize for the fact that other athiests try to disprove religion, without being provoked. however, you must realize that this is not true for every athiest.

they are alive, however, they are not sapient beings. when you say that they cannot survive outside the womb, you are essentialy saying they cannot survive outside their enviroment without help. this would mean that humans are not alive, as if you were to put a human where it shouldn't be, in it's natural state, it would most likely die. the same goes for all life. if i misunderstood your meaning, forgive me.

as many people have said, religious people will not change, nor will athiest. as to whomever has, or will post the "if there's only one, or a few, they will change quickly." nope. they will, however, stop talking, and continue believing in private. that's the best you can hope for, or that everyone would stop trying to convince everyone else that they're right.
that right should not be given. the only time an abortion should be allowed is when the mother would not be able to take care of the baby. it's just wrong to allow people to decide weather or not to kill a unborn child. if that person grows up and wants to die, that's their choice. it should not be anothers choice. that is sick and wrong. if abortions are allowed, then you might as well be allowed to take a gun to anothers head and pull the trigger.
