It's why I hate bothering with peer review in class unless it's either from the teacher or from a select few students. It's nice to hear praise, but it needs to be mixed with advice on how to improve.
But, in their defense, keep in mind that your drawing abilities are about ten times better than those of a non-artist, so what ends up happening is that the people you ask have no idea how to even start giving you valuable constructive criticism. If someone doesn't spend a considerable amount of time studying artistic techniques, they're not going to have an eye for where the mistakes are.
Most of what I would say has already been said, so I can't say much; however, I will say that in my opinion, the best anime artists are the ones who blend traditional anime with different styles. That's why I enjoy Gainax's art so much. This is what I recommend you do because you don't want to get trapped in the same old mold that every amateur anime artist tries to emulate. Study realism to understand how objects look in the real world, but also experiment with other cartoon styles, such as, for example, more western techniques. Then, take the best qualities of those techniques and see what happens when you incorporate them into your anime. This will make your art stand out from the crowd.
I just wish they would say anything else rather than "Oh MY GOD!!!, that's awesome", one of the many reasons why I often show it to my older brother and my art class teacher rather then my classmates and friends. Hmm true, thought a classmate of mine often criticizes my art, and he's not good with art itself.
Hehehe hard not to agree with you there
Like Panty and Stocking?... at first i thought it was a cartoon... but I then realized it was a mixture of anime and cartoon. Thanks for the tip,... I'll make sure my stupid self will follow it (and in stupid self I mean entirely ME)
Thank you once again :)

I gotta say...... THIS SH*T IS AMAZING 8D (don't be offended that I called it sh*t.. I do that often when I'm amazed or excited, in this case amazed)

Any succesful manga artist, in fact, will tell you that they didn't just "acquire" their talent. You won't be able to guess what a human body looks like with random scribbles. Studying is a necessity if you want your art to improve.
Everyone has different sources of motivation but, as the amount of drawings and studies you make increases, you'll eventually learn to both hate and love your art. I only show about 10% of my work to others, but it's work I'm proud of. The rest of my drawings are the road I've carved out for myself with sketches and studies.
I know, even anime/manga artists had to study and practice to get where they are now. I'm not stupid to that point. Oh I know that feeling, I hate most of my art, I just think it lacks something (and it does), or it's not good enough, etc.. but when I show it to people they're all like "OH MY GOD!! That's awesome" :/

Try to get away from an anime style. Anime is essentially a bunch of tricks to draw quickly. It's perfect for anime (strange huh?) where many many drawings are stitched together to give the illusion of movement. You can always simplify once you understand the underpinnings. Go for complex and then return to simple if it becomes necessary for where you want to go with your art. It's easier to go back, than try to unlearn a process you've relied on.

Hmm.. thank you, I'm much appreciated.

I can't say much more than what Kuma and Melmo mentioned, except for what really sticks out like a sore thumb to me is the girl that is pointing (wearing generic japanese school clothes I think?). Perspectives are really hard to accomplish successfully (many people have the same problem, myself very much included). A useful tool is to draw a dot where the vanishing point is, and extend lines in all directions (using a ruler/line tool :P) and work from there. It won't magically fix your problems, but it should be easier :)
Just in case what I'm saying here is gibberish, here is a quick tutorial on perspectives, and, while I'm at it, foreshortening (also here)
Post more art too :P
Thank you :)
About the girl who is pointing, the outfit was merely a simple request, a friend of mine was begging me "Please, draw her with those japanese outfits.. you know like in animes, pleaaaseee", I had no choice per say.
Aahh perspective, haha it kills my brain, but you need it so.... hehe I actually practice a lot when it comes to perspective, but it's like realism, I need more practice.
Thanks for the tip :) and the tutorials as well, they are very useful, I must practice.

As an amateur, you may hear a lot of critique like "Learn anatomy", or "Get better at backgrounds", or even the vague "Be more creative", which I heard and still hear a lot of. Nonetheless, take it step by step. Get references for anatomy in medical books (or google) and practice for days on that until you can do it without a reference. Then, practice it without a reference for days. Soon enough, you will have mastered one thing and can check it off your list of things to learn.
So, what I'm saying is, that you need to take it step by step. Soon enough you'll get better!
Discourage me?, why my good man, these only encourage me, to make the best of it, and try harder and harder. :)
Thanks for the tip :) I'll use it wisely
Oh haha... okay.. hmm thank you for the notice
Yes, although I've been drawing since I was in 5th grade, I only started practicing about when I was in the 7th grade (because I was noticing I was heading nowhere), so I still call myself an apprentice. Anatomy.. I still need help with that... I've been trying to find good books about anatomy on the art category at book stores, I haven't found anything, nothing but music and photography related books. Thank you 8D, that site seems very helpful.
About the bowl of fruit... I never thought of that, when I draw life... I just think/draw trees, birds, in conclusion nature. Also chairs, I draw those a lot, but mostly chairs. And shading is one of my biggest concerns. A recent project I did, was merely about that, I used a photo of my mother, traced it, and colored the shading. And realism, another of my biggest concerns..
Oh well... on conclusion I must say, thank you <3 one of the best critiques I've ever gotten, seems I was right on doing asking critiques here, if i didn't I wouldn't have gotten help.
Once again thank you.

Other people's things?, what do you mean?
People often say that my art is good, and I have a great future n the "art department".
But I'm not so sure, I never get critiques, I hardly get any comments, so I never know
So, critiques please.. I'll be posting (when available) art, and wish to get critiques, don't worry, they can be HARSH critiques, I can take it.
This time I decided to post a few sketches rather than just one plain drawing.
