Get your bearings first. Climb up to the to of the crows nest and use the pirate monocular that the lazy pirate left there and see where in the ocean you are (i.e. any defining landmarks, landforms, animals)

this piece is much better than the first two
however, there is always room for improvement:
1. add color! we know its some dark emo-y pic, but still! :P
2. ... anatomy? im not sure what you did with the head there, but it is where the chest is supposed to be
3. hands. kina blocky, and could use improvements
4. wings. they are kinda small, and are oddly shaped :S also, it looks like you tried to make the wings look like feathers? at least, thats my guess. however, they dont really look like them, so take a peek at some references next time :)

when you are going to do any kind of painting or anything, draw a faint outline in pencil. also, use shapes like cylinders and spheres to get your anatomy correct, and for proportions, just look at google! :P

post some more pics and use some of the things you pick up in this thread to help you improve :)

Look at tutorials
this will give you everythin yoou need to know to draw better than what you did. a lot better, hopefully. Please, next time you choose to post some of your doodles, put some effort into them, seeing as i (yes, even poor llittle me) can make something better than that in an hour
