Ouch.
Yeah.
Pay.
We need it.
We don't do stuff for free.
Sorry.
Hugs don't pay the bills, sweetheart.

If you're not actually contributing to it (as in, you're not even touching flash) then get the fuck out.
Anyone can write a story or do sketches, but seriously. Take the time to learn flash then show us what YOU can do, rather than just tell a person to "animate this, do that, compile him, BLAHBY BLAH BLAH".
Also, you're probably not going to submit something quality for a while, so just keep on trying, but don't do this. Collaborations are fine, but trying to put a large amount of the work load on someone else just sets a bad example for yourself.
OP, this would probably be better in Collaboration.
Rocky, chill. Seriously. This guys is a writer and he says he can make the entire storboard, and someone just has to animate it. He also says that you will get all of the profit. If he actually has a good story, this can be good for the animator, reputation and revenue wise.
Teehee.
Your big monster guy looks like a big, male Renamon x3
Just saying.

Why is the background from that one Youtube guy repeated? Make your own backgrounds!!!
So? Who cares what they do. We aren't here to see Gorillaz art, we are here to see YOUR art!
Having your own background in YOUR style, not some lame stock photo, is much better. The result compliments YOUR piece. When you have some lame stock pic, you have this really contrasted pic, which ends up with a "blah" result.
I think your pictures come out a little bit blurry too. Do you scan them or take pictures? If its the latter, then I suggest you invest in a scanner, it will give you a much clearer result. If its a scanner... try a higher dpi scan and play with the sharpness a bit?
What do you use to make them? It looks like paper and pen, with markers for color. Brand?
As for your uploading problem mentioned in the first post...
Try using a different browser to pload your pics. Internet Explorer has some weird problem that will occasionally fuck with you. Using Chrome or Firefox or Safari will clear that right up ;)
How will an old fashioned Hi-Five do!?

He looks kinda cute
However, his front legs are too far forward. They are under his eyes o_o
Maybe if you make them a bit smaller and closer together? Idk, but experiment with it, and definetely put them further back.

The "VIEW ALL THE ART" and "SEE ARTIST PROFILES" are very obnoxious and annoying.
Also, can you make it able to scroll up and down using arrow keys? Using a mousepad makes that whole aspect kinda a nuisance. Thanks...
3%?
You've got to be kidding me.
Maybe 30%, depending on how much work you want done.
On another note,
Also, what was that about level designing? I know some people that might be interested. A bit more information would be nice. Thank you ^_^

If Test would offer to, I think he should do it. His 5 minute sketch over there looks pretty promising and I think he could make it into something very impressive.
Aaand to finish off my 4 post per 30 minutes, my Project Denovo Pic
Idk, I think it is gonna be a fun project. I wish some more regs would join :P

Bumping thread.
Why the fuck not?
The forum is dead atm anyways, it can't hurt.
Aigis may or may not be mad for me posting this pic.
I whored it out during Game Jam in stickam.
Meh.

At 1/16/11 11:33 AM, Rockyusa wrote: I'm wondering, where do you guys get inspiration from? Do you look for it, come upon it from daily experiences or recommendations? Truthfully, I can never find anything to draw.
I can get it from anything and everything. That doesn't mean its easy to come by, but I might hear a song, quote, poem. Sometimes I ask my friends at school, and there might be a diamond in the rough request. Sometimes when I think of something random off the top of my head, I get inspired to draw it. Frustration at others not understanding me (wow that sounds emo) makes me want to draw and convey my thoughts.
There is always the Money Motivator. When you are getting paid, it is a lot easier to draw to your fullest capability and try your hardest. You want your customer to have the highest quality product out there, and so of course you are going to draw your heart out! Plus, the more pleased they are with your services, the more likely they will return or reccommend you to someone else.
However, my main stream of inspiration is all the awesome artists here on NG and their fantastic works. They inspire me to draw outside my comfort zone and especially draw new and unique things. They make me want to push myself to be as good as them. For instance, if it wasn't for Fifty-50, I wouldn't have my notebooks covered in crosshatching and little scribbles of complete badassery. If it wasn't for Zombie-Eskimo, I wouldn't be obsessed with drawing Vexons. x) If it wasn't for Rhunyc, I would never have tried speedpainting and lineless art. If it wasn't for WaveChan, I would have never discovered SAI, which is an amaing art program. If it wasn't for all of them,, I would have never gotten into art like I am now, and would probably be drawing anime characters forever. Maybe if you stick around, you can be as inspired as me. :D
Hope this helps. :)
You asked me to post this here, so I will.
All the other information you already know thanks to PM! ;)
I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
But your older art reminds me of M-Vero.
Your newer stuff is with paints though, so I can't really say.
How about some more? It looks great!

It kinda looks like it, and the overuse of curve and line tool also suggests that.
However, it looks very good for Paint.
My favorite in this thread is the "KIDD" sketch. Would love to see it colored ;)
Ummm... maybe you should make faces out of "Totem"
Or, uh, something.
*snickers*
Also, this seems very similar to dA's Muro, which, actually, is one of the best things that site has ever done.
DeviantART's Muro
As a normal member, or a guest, you have 8 brushes to choose from. You can also buy 3 more brush packs (4 brushes in each) and use those as well. But I'm not a dA freak and so I don't have those.
Also note that, if you use Internet Explorer, you can only use the "Basic" settings, which is most similar to that Harmony site. I think you can only use the most basic 4 brushes, but I might be wrong. There is also an eraser, bucket fill, eyedropper, box select, and move tool.
While using Pro settings, you can enable as many layers as you want (I got up to 101 before I stopped) and can hide/view each layer, as well as a background layer. You can also change the color of your brush, luminescence, saturation, all that stuff, and have two colors you can switch back and forth between.
On both settings you can export or save your image, upload it to your dA account, cut, copy, paste, invert selection, select, deselect, clear canvas, etc., as well as apply numerous filters on your work.
As an example, I hope you don't mind, I sketched a bit. Well, more like scribbled.
Also shown are all of the brushes except Nightmare, which kinda looks like fur. Idk why, but it didn't want to work :/
