I don't usually do my flats by color. They are usually by section of clothing/picture. But I switch on and off randomly, and when laying down flats I think it is kinda helpful.

I didn't mean it as to say that he is a thief or something. I meant it, as also stated in my post, that it is easier said than done, and that saying that drawing wings are easy without actually drawing them doesn't really help the point.

Its easy enough to say that, well, its easy enough. Like all things, especially those art related, it is easier said than done.
I say that it takes more time and patience than anything.

I spent probably 10 hours on my Cupcake Collab submission.
You may/may not think thats a long time; idk really know what people consider "taking way too much time on something" or "rushing a piece", but thats about what all of my "decent" pieces are, give or take an hour or two. Basically because I hate every line I draw so I end up redrawing them 10 times each >_>
Coloring is even worse.
Actually, I was working on the Cupcake submission in my living room, watching tv, on the couch next to my dad, and he was making fun of how slow I was working. He stopped complaining when I handed him my laptop and tablet and said, "Here, you try it." He doesn't know how to use a tablet. :D

Moving on, like Tem said, art is a matter of opinion. Furthermore, there is more than just one form/style of "art". Whether or not people like your style, just accept their critique or comments and say thank you and don't be a dick back to them, even if they are a complete asshole. If it is really that big of a problem, you could always ask a mod to delete it (not that they will, neccessarily)

The forefront doesn't follow the perspective lines. namely the bar, pool table, and lights above the bar, which is a great deal of the front. The chairs, as Tre pointed out, look painful to sit in, and the top of the tables should not be shown as much. The fan should not be at that angle either.

As for your pico stuff, Nene has bowed legs. The lack of pupils in each takes away from them as well. I also think that if you were to have that set of 3, Darnell should be facing forwards too, or, better yet, Nene facing to (her) right.
Still, Darnell is my favorite of the three.

WIP on Cupcake collab. Kinsei pointed out to me the mix of styles, what with the hard and soft shading. I'm thinking about messing with the colors to show one entirely hard, soft, and this mixed one, and then I guess you guys can decide?
