Nah, not really shield trouble, I just lost part of the shield handle while attempting to glue (found it though!)

Read up, I said I'll try my hand at a few :P
They do get kind of repetitive though... maybe because they're the same thing :P
But it's gonna take quite some planning to figure out how future papercraft peoples are gonna look.

Speaking of, I finished Green....

So basically, you haven't drawn anything traditionally for 6 years, and all this time you've been making art with your mouse?
Hah, good luck with that tablet.

How about you show us something traditionally?
Get a tablet doesnt make you magically 10 times better.
Many people find it hard to get used to a tablet, and some never truly get the hang of it.
I think you are overestimating how a tablet works.

Meanwhile, that image is just horrible

Not MSPaint.
If you can't get PS, though, you can try GIMP; it's free.

Well, as a rule of thumb, there should always be enough space in between the eyes to fit a 3rd eye.
Here is a link to a tutorial which will help you with the proportions of the face.
And here is a link that should help you specifically with eyes. Googling never hurt anyone, btw.
Also this, which can help you with hair (and metallic objects, need that skill be necessary)
Hope it helps.

Response to: need advice Posted July 10th, 2011 in Art

Try to use less saturated colors.
To get an idea (or even a color palette), you can open up stock images from online and color drop to get a feel for hair and skin tones. Note that some people are darker than others (lol), and some paler. Some people have even a different hue, depending on where they're from (i.e. Irish people have fairer skin, pink, where as hispanics have an olive-y tone)

I think you should navigate with the arrow keys, and when you press to go to the next page, there is a page turning animation, instead of clicking and dragging.
Just my two cents.

I was going to post many times in here, but then decided against it. Mostly cause I just wanna say "Great stuff, as always" :P

Yeah, once I'm done building these buggers, I'm hoping to make some of my own, I have yet to decide of what yet. Maybe Pico/Nene/Darnell or something. If I don't feel like making something NG related, I'm very tempted to try making some dogs and critters or something.
Still, these Crashers are gonna look awesome on my windowsill :3

So my livestream was pretty successful; I got a lot of feedback, much more than I ever could linking a picture or anything else. It makes a difference, and I'm looking forward to doing it with some more complicated pieces of mine.
It was also funny, watching my computer squirm under the amount of effort it took to run the stream and SAI. So much, I couldn't even go on Chrome D:
Anyways, thanks Livestream friends, and here is the end result :)
