Personally I dislike killing people for no reason. The Iraqi citizens are going to defend their country because thats what citizens do if it comes down to it.

Here is a scenario: America's military is near non-existant... about 4,000 troops in each state, and China, having armed their entire population are invading. Now, would you let the bigger stronger nation walk over you, while they plan to make life better for you, OR would you find a gun and defend your homeland?

My guess is you're going to defend your country... So why should we assume anything different from the Iraqis???

You have France and Germany taking the moral high ground on an issue that is already dead. Iraq has been in material breach of Resolution S/RES/1441 since 1441 was adopted by the Security Council.

The theory that the government has your money is like going to a store buying somethign then asking for money back. Next time you go to Wal-mart or something buy an item, then ask for 50% of the money you gave back (that doesnt mean $20 for a $10 item... i mean of the money that pays for the item)

The only weird thing is... it really isnt a law. To my knowledge the Supreme Court ruled it.
