I haven't checked my actual range. But I know my voice is effed up for sure. I can hit a baritone/tenor but there is a certain section in my range where I can't sing, then At higher notes I can once again. but anything below "inbetweeen" or above that range, I pretty much suck. I'll release a song soon enough once I get a mic that has me singing in it. :P

I was just saying, Say you make an Album, Then get concerts going. Jazza's got me there though, Because those are my favorite pieces. It's what I stive for as well.

I found out a bit later that My dial up is NOT gonna load three of my best songs up in near enough time for my computer to last through. So if anyone Wants to make an account and uload my songs I'd love you all to death.

Thats a freaking epic song. So I'm right with in finding this artist. Here's your best bet, PM Rucklo or another audio Mod about this. I Know Newgrounds automatically edit's the ID3 tags (the license under which the music is distrubuted) on the song once it uploads, So If you check your Mp3 player (I'm assuming You have the song Downloaded) Look for the tags associated, It should say Newgrounds audio Id and the artist name. Most likey the artist deleted it, but you can still credit him/her (HA LIKE IT'S A GIRL) But the mod's Might also have a track of the deleted song and which artist deleted it, In case you can;t find it in your media player.

Quick little side note. If you have the song downloaded on your computer, Open Windows Media Player, Go to View, Info center View and hit Always show. See what it says, And Post the artist here if You find it, Cause I'd like to here some more.

I got a hook up that can get me hitting up clubs and stuff, And he's getting me a free copy of Reason 3.0, So I'm gonna get myself a usb cord, Turn my keyboard that I make My Music on into A midi Controller for Reason (Hopefully it is compatable) I know a LITTLE bit of how the music works, But I'm much more familiar with game music. Plus this could let me branch out into a wider variety of music, and Possibly gain A larger fanbase etc. I promise If I get famous I'll pay for the whole NG audio lounge to come to a club on vip list. (probably not gonna get famous, So I got no problem saying it) :P

Either way, either someone to teach me via Msn/gmail how to use reason/make dance/dnb musics Would be the coolest thing to ever help me out. As well as like some places to get Vst's and such, When I get this I"ll be TOTALLY new to the whole computer music making thing, So I really need peoples help.

Mind the random absence, My uncle decided to take the mouse from the computer, He underestimated my skills with keyboard hotkeys, so I'm still able to do pretty much anything I could with a mouse, It just takes a hell of alot longer. For some reason Newgrounds doesn't let me use my tab button to scroll through links, So I have to open the view source option and ctrl f the link, then write it in the url address to get to a webpage. So I've been neglecting the audio forum recently. Either way Figured I'd Post and say What I've been up to.

On the plus side, I found, So long as I don't keep messing up on the notes on the keyboard, I make some pretty "rad" music when I'm drunk, Just more incentive to drink, I guess.

I find it quite funny how well this post has made it in terms of zerbombing, As good as these solutions are (and trust me I felt the same way about zerobombing when I first started submitting audio) It's not exactly a bad thing that zerobombing seems to be. I mean, it's kind of what keeps good audio in place. If your song is good enough to make it on the fp when zerobombing is still active, congratz, you deserved it. BUt without it, It just makes songs with 20 votes that have had all the persons friends 5 them, Get on thefront page. Which if zero bombing wasn't active, wouldn't make a difference. A song with 400 votes will have a very low effect if zerobombed...I'd say an average of 0.05. And with it's fanbase could be back up to an original score (A fair one as well) in no less then a day or two. IMHO I'm quite happy with the way thigns are, you always have two sides of the spectrum, good, evil, zero's and 5's...Let's just leave it as is, and let the people with true skill and not randoms who don't know the difference between a mix of preset loops help get a song on the Frontpage list.

Well..Making good music Is key, Becoming avid in the forum as well...Reviewing lots, It's the same as if it were in real life. You need people to recognize you before they realize your stuff is good. I mean, you could play musics like eddie van halen, but if no one see's it. Whos gonna know it's amazing, that's why the forum does it's best to help under the radar Composers by telling people about there good find. Fonrtpage is merely a bragging right, I'd lvoe to get a front page at somepoint, But I take it as a huge possibility if I dont. And at that point getting that same song BACK on the front page is neaerly impossiblt, as That song just got zero bombed to complete shit.

Best of luck in your aspiration though.

I tried to explain as best I could even though I have no realy musical theory training, I taught myself and Am going by learning what I knew from friends telling me the technical terms. As I said, I got the basics for the newcomers But anything beyond explaining that Would screw me over. As for people explaining for me to use the same chords in a chord pgrogression, I didn't mean that Ing eneral for every song you create, I just meant As a starting point, If it's your first time in music I don't think your gonna want to jsut learn the chords and then have a variated version everytime you play, thats merely a form of getting used to them.

Basically, Edit's are not allowed. remixes with different instruments that are not Midi Ripi Are allowed. If it is someone elses song You must credit the original Author and Have amde significant changes, PSamling beyond 10 seconds is also not allowed.

This same thing was discussed no earlier then yesterday. Heres why.
If you did get expierence for Audio (Which isn't voted on nearly as much as flash, because flash IS more popular) People would just Either vote 0 for 5 submissions a day like 90% of the flash portal population, which is even worse, because there's no other population really voting (The FP gets almost 3-500votes before the flash is even blammed or saved) to raise that score back up, the last thing the AP needs is more incentive to vote zeros besides having no life.

I would be a BIT happier if there was a standard archive for best audio rather than jsut 30 submissions and Nothing after that point. A Blue "Awesome score" and green good score wouldn't work out to well either, There's too much leeway as to how many times that song can go back and forth between a 3 and a 5 when theres only 8 votes on it.

When the population gets much bigger, Than maybe it can get the respect it deserves, Until then we are stuck with what we got now.
