I don't necessarily want Hawke in another game, but my favorite part of both games were the origin stories. I don't want to pick up as a character who's already a badass legend; I think it's an obligatory RPG element that the protagonist starts off powerless and shitty and gradually becomes a professional motherfucker.

well, thats certainly an aspect that makes the first of each saga the best (or at least gives it a huge advantage). buuuut.... the character from DAO can't be left there, is like, he became super-important and was left with lots of things to complete, even Awakening doesnt give completion. he should certainly have a strong presence in the game (it would have been awesome to be able to take decisions for a new protagonist AND your DAO character in DA3, but that would have been too awesome and innovating for them to do it)

Part of me feels like this is just how Japanese people talk, since I've read the novelization of Silent Hill 2 and watched various anime and both have tended to divert into over-thinking obsessive worries over small talk.
