That statement doesn't make any sense.American music is listened worldwide while a lot of people don't pay attention to the lyrics or don't speak English at all.

At 8/27/12 06:19 PM, TheKlown wrote: Yes, I know Vegetarian Body builders and exercisers exist, but I bet you I could whoop their ass in a fight. Meat makes you a man, salads do not.

Your message sounded like it made sense until you said that. How to descredit yourself. So yeah there are muscled vegetarian, but it's not real muscle,it's faggot ones, cause they're not real men. Please tell me more about your alpha male vision of society.
Plus do you know that cows don't even eat meat, even though they don't look like weak animals.Same goes for elephants and hippos.

Plus,as a vegetarian I would just add that one of the reason not to eat meat is that if you leave in a society that offers alternatives to animal killing and cruelty, the fact you are "born to eat meat/have pointy teeth" is irrelevant. We don't have to live following our instincts.

Response to: Need a anime to watch Posted August 20th, 2012 in General

Try Gungrave (26 episodes). It's one of my favorite anime ever.Brilliant scenario about 2 friends joining the mafia and how they went from best friends to ennemies. The 1st 2 episodes are all nonsense action but then it's an awesome flashback.Amazing writing, great animation and gorgeous image.Plus,it's got epic gunfights.

If you're into seinen mangas and interesting scenarios I stongly recommand you Gungrave. You can check the reviews on the internet it's pretty liked.

Response to: NGers with Tattoos Posted August 16th, 2012 in General

I don't have any tattoo because it's too much money for me right now.As a student I spend my money on music mostly. But I definately plan on getting one.

Why "Discipline" ? Is that because you're into sport or any hobby that requires discipline ?

Not really sample-based but you could try Native Instrument's free products.

Response to: Do you want to become pro? Posted July 23rd, 2012 in Audio

Nice topic idea. Most of you are electronic producer,DJ,etc...and I actually ended up on newgrounds to share my electro stuff.I would personnaly like to be a proffessional touring musician (in metal music).

I play guitar really seriously and my band is starting to become serious.I started learning production and recording in order to write full songs by myself and so propose them to my band so I can help the band in a really effective way.Plus I can get honest/objective reviews from people I don't know on the internet.
I think the goal is reachable since we see more and more young metal bands touring the world.I put a lot of work and effort into that goal.I try to write quality music and I pay a lot of attention to what people think about my/our music.

Response to: The Djent Club Posted July 22nd, 2012 in Clubs & Crews

Hey man,if you're still interested i'd like to talk about Djent and progressive metal band.I'm a huge fan of this genre and I'd like to share/discuss about bands.
A few bands and albums I really enjoyed
Band - Album :
Vildhjarta - Masstaden I personaly really enjoy it

Tesseract - One
The Contortionist - Exoplanet More progressive than Djent
Periphery - Everything they released !

Also if you like progressive metal you should check out Basick Records, you can listen to their full catalogue for free on their bandcamp page
From Basick I found out about 7 Horns 7 Eyes Their album is wonderful

Response to: The last game that you beat Posted July 22nd, 2012 in Video Games

I finished Bastion,I played other games recently but this is the one I really enjoyed. It looks like you are inside a gorgeous painting, plus it's really fun to play and it's quite original in the way it's executed.

Response to: Instruments and Band Experience! Posted July 20th, 2012 in Audio

I like the idea of this topic.Sometimes I feel like people on the audio portal are more interested on software/production than the actual instruments, which is also really interesting !

I've been playing guitar for almost 6 years.I only play this instrument so I try to be the best at it.I've been playing in a band for almost 3 years. We"re finally gonna record an EP this summer !

Here is "Brain Damage" a song I wrote for my band http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/492993

All the other stuff I posted are played through a midi keyboard or programmed on Cubase with Native Instrument Plug in and Superior Drummer

Response to: Making music without headphones? Posted July 19th, 2012 in Audio

I used to have no ear problem. Then I started playing in my band.Got earbuzz, because my ears are "weak" compared to my bandmates'ears that can bear anything.
Recently I've stopped using headphones because it gave me terrible headache(I think those long Skyrim sessions might have killed me).Now I can't even talk on the phone too long before getting a headache.
I switched to monitor speaker (KRK rokit 5) and I can hear everything perfectly. So it's even better than headphones in my case.

Response to: Songs you like but are way too... Posted July 17th, 2012 in General

Smells like teen spirit by Nirvana.I still like it but I've listened to the Neverming album it so many times. It tend to get obsessed with albums I like so I listen to them again and again until I just can't bear it then I start again.

- Funkist is awesome ! I had never heard of them before but it's really cool.
- Snow AngelãEU by KOTOKO is great !
- The Theme song from Hokuto no ken is AWESOME ! I'm listening to it again and again. It's funny and baddass at the same time.

Hey Newgrounds,so I've been listening to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, the Japanese Idol, for a while now and so I'm looking for similar artist to listen to.I'm looking for Kawai, pop, easy to listen stuff.I like some songs from Gilrs Generation but I'm not a huge fan.

Wich artist would you recommand me ?

Response to: Looking for an generic epic game Posted July 6th, 2012 in Video Games

I think you'd like it.The gameplay is faster than the 1st one.No more sword holding stuff. It's still close to the 1st one meaning that you need to prepare your character and get skills before a big fight.
About the story,it doesn't reference that much to the previous game. They tell you the basics at the begining and it's a whole new story.
It's shorter than the Witcher 1 because the game is way more intense and EPIC as you're looking for.

I really recommand this game !

Response to: Looking for an generic epic game Posted July 5th, 2012 in Video Games

The Witcher 2 is one of the most Epic and intense game I've played.I felt like being inside the Lord Of The Rings movie right from the beggining, which set you during an epic battle.
The game never really slows down and I found the character interesting,it's based on great polish novels so the writing is top.
I'm a fan so I'm biased but you should definately watch a trailer !

Response to: The funniest games. Posted July 5th, 2012 in Video Games

I recently played Psychonauts out of the Humble indie bundle. The milkman conspiracy and the fish town runned by a dictator while you are Godzilla to them was hilarious, funniest moment in a game after Sam and Max season 1 to 3.

Looking for volume tips Posted July 2nd, 2012 in Audio

Hi guys,so I've been having this problem for a while and it's time to fix it.When making music on cubase,I always make sure that the master volume is loud enough and under the ceiling.
The problem is,when I export (and then convert in mp3) I get different results and in the end if you listen to my songs you'll need to manually adjust the volume of your speakers. It's the case on my soundcloud page for example.

Here is an example between "Tragic Fate" and the "League of Legends song".

Hey thanks for the good comments ! I totally understand that the music needs to fit the game perfectly.I've been working on a new song called Escaping,it sounds more classical (more like Warming Up).The only problem would be that the drum is a bit too loud but I can totally fix it.
