ooh I just went through this myself yesterday. They told me about something called ASIO4ALL and apparently it works on your system if you don't have a blingin' soundcard already.

Hmm spent some time checking out my system. It's less than 2 years old apparently. Athlon 2 at 2.8 ghz, kingstin 2 gigs of memory. Gigabyte motherboard it has built in video and sound, but I guess neither is being used. It has a Nvida video card and a Asus D2X pcie soundcard. It has fancy lights in the headphone port. oh and 320 gig hard drive, and i have the FL XXL edition. Is that the top of the line one? It had windows XP on it when I got it, and when I bought vista for it I got the 64 bit version cause the dude at the store said it was better.

That sound card is 200$? wow I bought the whole damn computer off a buddy for $400!

anyways, I will download those drivers and see what happens....

Cause those are the parts boxes that I found in the house around the computer a while back :P. Is there a way for me to find out exactly what I have without tearing my computer open? Hi there. My sound card is built-in my motherboard, and it runs my movies games and music just fine, but when I try to use FL, the sound slows and clicks, then eventually craps out altogether! Is there anyway that I can upgrade my onboard sound with something specifically designed to make music? or did I miss something in settings? Is there tricks to make FL work on a older system? I think my computers is only 3-4 years old, but I'm not sure if I need something more powerful. I have gigabyte motherboard and a athlon II that should be just fine for running FL right? I hope I made sense sometimes I'm not too good with asking questions.

Offering money would be better than something on Steam. many people don't like a game system where they have to be logged online constantly in order to play. That's too DRM-like ain't it, even though it's not DRM.

I think you should offer something like $10 to $20 dollars on paypal. Then people might actually be interested. In addition to increasing the size of their E-Penis, they would get some digital cash as well.
